I wanted to open this thread in case someone is curious about crypto. I've been in the industry full-time since 2017 and after 2 cycles in the market with pretty good results, I am definitively in a position to help (Plus, I love it )

Disclaimer: I have nothing to sell on crypto, this is just for fun and to have a space here on that topic, I'm currently focus on internet marketing, education and affiliate marketing, as I explained in my welcome post because we're in a bear market and there's not much to do there atm (and I also wanted to come back to another industry I like, treated me well in the past and diversify)...But now is a perfect time to learn for the future!

Crypto is a really polarizing theme, you usually love it or hate it, some people are more curious or skeptic but typically it leaves no one untouched. This industry is far bigger than the price action of the tokens, I'm talking about:

Career opportunities: Crypto companies tend to pay fairly above average because they tend to attract a lot of capital and also because workers need to get that extra-knowledge on the industry...But that knowledge barrier is way lower than most tend to think, you can update your skillsets to the industry pretty quickly.

Tools: First as a way of receiving payments. For many countries is the most convenient way of paying online. And second, using products and service that they are only feasible in the crypto-industry (NFT's is a good example)

Investment: The most known and tricky because the greed is strong in this one...How is it possible that with an asset (Bitcoin) that has had a massive positive growth from 2008 to 2021, most people have lost money? Simple, investing isn't gambling and it has a process and a know-how, people tend to forget about this.

Other opportunities: Musicians, painters and other artists, gamers, content creators, educators, entrepreneurs, etcetera have a huge opportunity to build in an industry that most likely will experience a growth like the one we saw with the Internet in the last 2-3 decades.

So hopefully I can solve some of the burning questions and doubts regarding this topic and open an off-topic space for this ^^

Yes, not much opportunity in Australia for Crypto, of the only ones offering it have dodgy backgrounds, and the reputable ones with spotless backgrounds only offer it in business hours, and tend to only offer watered down versions.

Not sure about the bear remark, BC, has gone up from 20 to 23 in the last month or so, with massive losses before hand.

Haven't really considered it for those reasons, and the fact that l am doing well with Meme ETF's, and don't really have a reason to switch.

Yeah, jurisdictions may be a pain in the ass for certain things...When offering you mean for buying or selling crypto right?

We're still in a bear, nothing comes down in a straight line, the main trend is bearish...Though in my opinion (NFA) it's a great time to DCA

What's a meme ETF? And how good is doing? I'm curious now haha

ETF is a low cost way of trading an index or commodity, and meme tends to relate to high risk, greed and or fear driven stocks.

I cover predictions and how well l am doing elsewhere, but suffice to say l am up 24% over the last month, and the bull run has a long way to go.

I have been trading for the last 5 years, and am at home in the deep end of the pool with the sharks...

Yeah I'm with you. The future of bitcoin is still a mystery.(link removed by mod) A report from a website shows the sales of Bitcoin-related merchants had kept a low volume in the past year. Generally speaking, it is a highly risky area for investment.

BlackRock is entering Bitcoin and it's gonna win much more selling Bitcoin than trying to "destroy" it...institutions, banks, billion dollar companies are investing insane amount of money and resources to jump on the crypto wagon...If big players didn't want Bitcoin, it would be dead years ago, now with more than 100M holders and after surviving almost every kind of problems and attacks, is too big to fail and in many countries a true necessity, most countries have an insane inflation and non-decent banking system.

I'm not saying Bitcoin and crypto cannot go down more, but it still has an excellent risk-reward ratio for the next years (NFA)

Regarding Bitcoin as a way of payment, probably not the best metric, there are better cryptos to handle payments, Bitcoin tends to be seen more as a store of value than a payment system, and yeah I know it has lost +60% from its ATH, but gold also did so in the 90s and almost 50% in the decade of 2010, Btc still a 13 year old asset, volatility will subside eventually.

NFT's? You really need to know what you're doing if you're investing in NFT's, is far riskier than big coins like Bitcoin or Ethereum or other crypto-investments. I agree that the NFT industry is here to stay and to grow massively though

Hey guys, I'd like to share my experience with crypto. I'm quite new to it, so I've started with BTC and SOL, but then I've decided to learn more about alt coins. I live in Georgia and a friend of mine told me about one project based in Georgia (but available worldwide with some obvious exceptions) that is like a crypto ecosystem. The project is called WEIcrypto.

I dont know, it inspired me a lot, primarily because they are not trying to hype as most of the crypto projects do, and they want to revolutionise the financial system of today's world, they want to create an alternative to the traditional fiat system. They have their own cryptocurrency and different services (they even have cash-back and loans), so I'd recommend checking them out.

Also I'd like to discuss them because as I've said I'm not a pro haha
