Well, it's official....I'm old as dirt.
We got the call last night that Cheryl's granddaughter just gave birth to a baby boy.

No name yet...although I like the sound of Solarious.

No...no...that's stupid. I mean Dominatorius.

It seems the WF needs to start recognizing old geezers (me included) and start making the site more 'old geezer' accessible...

    magnified ability

    text to audio

    just to name a few.

    Added: I almost forgot...old age I guess...congratulations!

Congratulations, not such a Great Step Grandad.

I never knew you had a stepdaughter, but then I never asked.

I think we should all submit some appropriate names.

I vote for Jay to commemorate your life's work ( J Edgar Hoover )

"The meaning of the name Jay is "cheerful" or "joyful," reflecting its origins as a nickname for John. The name Jay suggests happiness, positivity, and a zest for life, making it a great choice for parents who are looking for a name that reflects their son's character."

I may have told this story here before.

Years ago, in my store, a young couple bought a vacuum cleaner. As we were writing it up, their young son...maybe 7, said to me "My name is Brian, it means brave".

I looked down at him and said "My name is Claude, it means clump of dirt".

He didn't laugh. He was so excited about his name meaning brave.

On the way out the door, I waved and said "Bye, Brian...I'll see you later!"...He waved back at me and said "Bye Claude, I'll see you in Hell!".

I laughed so hard a tear ran down my leg.

That was probably not a tear that ran down your leg. Your Brian story is well known. Just ask anyone who has attended one of your seminars.

Well, theirs another name for you, Brian. Not one of my favorites. I would have like to have been called Alexander or Alex for short. A nice Woody word. (Monty Python)

His name is Leif. No idea how to pronounce it.

Life? Leaf? We'll wait until Cheryl's daughter calls with the pronunciation.

We got a picture of him. Winkled, toothless, hairless, cries constantly, and cannot control his bowels.

I know exactly what he's going through.

By marriage, Leif is connected to a Branch of your family Tree

I know how the name arose, it was a difficult birth. After it was over your stepdaughter said what a Re-Leif

Ok, I'm done with the Leif jokes.

Cheryl's granddaughter Tori just had her first baby. She's a tiny girl, barely five foot tall.

The baby is huge. I asked Cheryl "How big is he?"

She said "His birthday is the 12th, 13th, and 14th of June."

    That's big. (And it's a joke)

First off Congratulations to you and your family. As soon as you mentioned his name. I thought of the singer Leif Garrett.

It's Leif, and strangely...it rhymes with Safe.

I wanted to remind the Mom that Pseudononpoliferationesticologiesticalod...rhymes with Claude.

If it were a girl, my names choices would be..

Blanche, Marge, Maude, Whoretense, Frankensteina, Draculana, Stabetha, Torturella, or Buzzkilleza.
