Assume you weren't using a VPN for "nefarious" purposes, but for legit work but it was not always on. Does anyone know if you'd run into trouble as in locked accounts, etc. with sites such as FB, Amazon, or Google because let's say today you log on with an IP from Asia and tomorrow an IP from the US?

If it would cause trouble, are their legit ways to resolve it? Not going to use a proxy or BH tools.

I use a VPN but not for legit sites like Amazon and banking etc. I switch it off for anything that involves spending money or financials. Using Chrome and Google makes them ask if you are a robot. The best browser to use with a VPN is Brave.

I can tell you which VPN you should not purchase. It's CyberGhost 8. After you pay for it, it works for a month and then they disconnect it and say it doesn't work in your region. I do not recommend this service to anyone. The money will not be refunded as the refund month has passed. Be vigilant.

Another fan of Brave browser here. They also have their own VPN you can subscribe to. I have not tried it but I suspect it is good.

Yeah, Brave is great, no ad's on YT or almost everywhere, hardly any popups too. I recently put my VPN on my smart TV box. Set it for Canada. No Brave available for Android to get rid of YT ad's but I like the Canadian ad's served up in YT better than the US ones.

  • Besides Mark, do other VPN users turn it off and on or do you keep it on all the time?

I own a forum which predominantory uses US traffic and l live in AU so l do need one for ongoing use.

But some sites like online banking and some streaming sites have serious lssue's even if it is AU targeted.

So l put them on a browser which doesn't have a VPN as an extension and problem solved.

If you're looking for a reliable VPN service, I recommend searching "LightningX VPN" on Google. This VPN is known for its high speed and security, and it's compatible with Windows 10 and other operating systems. You can find more information about LightningX VPN by doing a quick Google search.
