All sorts of excitement here this month due to the story below. My reaction is 'I'm staying out of town till they leave'....

About a week ago a couple of horseback riders came across a 'crashed plane' on the trail in the state park nearby. They called it in to police but told the 911 person 'it doesn't look very crashed'. It was a prop for this movie.

    That's a pretty big deal. Sly Stallone stars in it. I have been watching his family reality show lately. It's actually pretty interesting

    He looks really good at 77 but I guess $400 mil can get you some major 'work' done

    So far it's not been bad - they don't start filming till noon so doesn't affect getting to the gym. So many of the local people are really excited about this. It does seem to be a smart crew - they've had quite a few interactions with local people and small businesses and have been polite and really fun. Lots of excitement for a very small city.


    Some of the filming is in front of a local restaurant bar - Left Field Tavern - and the only concession is a small sign that says 'use side entrance'.
