Just got back from Pixar's Inside Out 2. It's a cute animated movie. Even though it was good, I liked the first one a little better.

Any movies you have seen this Summer??

    • Every time I see a commercial for the movie, I immediately think of Dancing with Wolves. If in any way the new movie is as good as Dancing with Wolves, I will watch it.

  • Well it is freezing here, but ok considering seeing the Latest Mad Max film, (car chases in our outback , etc).

Surprised with the response and takings for Inside Out 2, since PIXAR's last couple of movies have bombed, (including the Inside Out 1).

The head of the marketing division and California's stupid laws means that they cannot go into a room and tear the shreds out of an idea or parts of their movies anymore since some aspects are illegal in that state.

Used to look up to that company and its remarkable run of successes, (have most of their movies on DVD, except Cars) but after John Lassater retired that company has become a movement instead of a children's entertainment company.

Or a wet dream for Hedge Funds?

  • Yeah, from Thai. Watching movie at the theater always make me feel good. For example, the best one is Avenger: End game. Who else love these?
  • More children's movies again I see, lol. To make matters worst, you had already seen volume one. Next time, don't be so selfish and take the kids.

No, not seen any movies at the cinema for years now. The 65" tv seems to have put pay to that for me. I can wait and get them for free anyway.

But, here's a question. What movie, perhaps a sequel or Marvel or something, would you absolutely insist on seeing on the big screen as opposed to waiting, and not just going for the kids sake?

    • There is a new Superman movie coming out next year, I think. I'll see it in the theater. But the rest? I'll probably see them on Netflix.

  • Garfield! For me, this is a movie for all ages. And there are always some updates coming out
  • No. the Western movie industry is an institution that is well overdue for the ash heap of history. it is the product of a corrupt and decadent culture.

    • Nothing wrong with a decent western, in the middle of the Clint Eastwood Good Bad, A fistful of Dollars ones myself but l suspect you are referring to the modern ones that seem to go forever and are deadly dull?
    • I know what you mean. After reading about the Roman Empire, I could never watch Gladiator again.

  • Westerns are unique to the USA - you aren't....

  • That was one of my favorites way back then, too. I think this one could be better - i've seen two interviews with Costner where he was talking about making the movies (there will be four of them) and attention to period detail is impressive.

    • I , for some reason, have never liked Kevin Costner personally. But putting that aside, he is really a helluva an actor. And the parts he has played have been amazing.

    • Four let me guess the titles.

      #1 Dancing with More Wolves

      #2 Dancing with Wolverine

      #3 Wolves with a Vengeance

      #4 Return of the Wolves

    • I was umm and arrning about it and don't get me wrong l love a good horror sci fi movie, but this is outright depressing.

I mean who wants to see frickin apes take over and turn humans into mutes.

I was starting to go off the franchise the last one where the humans were denied allowing a hydro plant from starting again.

  • Anyone seen the latest Alien franchise movie?. I heard it got good reviews? I appear to be stuck in the 80's and 90's where movies are concerned. Loved the previous Alien movies. I also liked all the sequel's to the Terminator movies. I really think if they had been released closer to the time of the originals they would have been held in higher regard.

    • They went downhill after the third one, with Prometheus just getting more weird horror than good old meat and potatoes alien gets inside of someone and alien blows a casket getting out.

But if you tell me one gets back to Earth l will go and see it!

  • Yeah, I just saw Inside Out 2 too really cute! I still think the first one had a bit more emotional depth though. This summer I also watched The Fall Guy (fun action), and Twisters super intense! Lots of good stuff out right now.

  • Not here. Theres nothing that has interested me really.
  • This evening, we took the boy to see How to Train Your Dragon. He loved it. It was aight, as the kids say (or used to say, it's hard to keep up). I prefer the animated version.

  • Yes, I thoroughly enjoyed watching A Quiet Place: Day One recently. The series benefited greatly from the storytelling and the intense atmosphere. The sound design was excellent as usual. It is highly recommended for those who enjoy tense thrillers. Is anyone else planning to see it?

  • F1 in this summer is very wonderful
  • I watched 2 time fantastic four first steps in iMAX Cinemas first time without 3D glasses and other time I watched with 3D glasses, best experience ever...!!! Apkdazy Games

Naked Gun was good until then end. The "my better half" line "woked" me to death
