I am wearing a favorite Halloween tshirt.....

"I'm only here for the Boo's"

That is my entire contribution to the holiday. We are in the country so no trick or treaters....family is in Hawaii so no parties, etc. Granddaughter is coming over later - and bringing Chipotle. My kind of day!

My ducks are absolutely not in a row. I don't even know where some of them are...
...and I'm pretty sure one of them is a pigeon.

Happy Halloween everyone. AMC has been running horror movies all month. I enjoyed watching the original Halloween and the original Friday the Thirteenth this month. I think they are running different Halloween movies all day today.

Now for a slight rant: My neighbor two doors up put out all their outdoor Christmas Decorations this week. It's not even November! There is a lawn deer pulling a sled, a lighted stuffed Bear with a drum, The Nutcracker, and lighted outdoor Christmas packages. Buried behind that is a pumpkin and one Halloween decoration. Talk about rushing a Season!

Had my share yesterday when l attempted to go to a shopping center and found wall to wall screaming feral children with witches hats on and a few adults dressed up as Beetlejuice and Skeletons of course scaring said children in a maze at ground zero.

All we needed was a few American flags and Syringes and it would have been perfect.

I really enjoy old monster movies and mysteries from the 1930s and 1940s. Every Halloween, thereabouts, we get a few days of these classics on Turner Classics. Yesterday I recorded a new batch. Along with several old Twilight Zone episodes I wanted to see again.

      He found himself here again.

      For days without end.

How could certainty transform so easily to SPOOKY?

The more he gazed upon his considered glories, the more they consumed his soul.

Thankfully, he remembered ... it is Christmas soon ... Thanksgiving ... plus also Princess Balestra's frickin' birthday ...

and the suffocating madness of metaphorical death subsided.

"What are pumpkins anyway? Beyond being mostly wider than they are tall?"

I found a huge repository of horror movies on the Russian social media site called VK, to stream,, over 10,000 of them, from the 70's to current day. A lot of low budget ones, cheesy and some exploitative ones. Mostly appallingly acted too. PM me if you want the link. Their are a few that I've sampled that are truly stomach churning.

Nothing beats the Devil Girl From Mars, with its B grade acting UFO made from second hand clothes washer parts and scary robot that will tip over before it has a chance of zapping you with its death ray.
