What am I possibly going to buy for people that have everything? Seriously, now a days don't we just go and buy something if we want it? I have been racking my brain for the past 2 months and I can't come up with anything? Help...I would appreciate some ideas on what to get for people that have pretty much everything

    How about a gift card.

    Or you can:

Never get married...never have any kids...remain drunk and obnoxious and push all your friends away and keep people at a distance all the time.

Hey, my christmas shoppings done...a bottle of Jack and a frozen dinner. Whoa, how easy was that!

    I love the holidays

Tough question.....gift cards or just ask them

    cheers, Dale

I find that people love to get homemade stuff. It saves money, allows some creativity, and shows you thought about them. Are you a great cook - forego the traditional friut cake (eyuck!) and cookies and make a bread basket instead. Do you sew? Plenty of room for little decorative items that will suit their tastes. Do you paint? Maybe there is a bare spot that could use a creative picture of some sort.

The main point is how well do you know the people. Everyone either needs or likes something. I remember one year I was broke and wanted to give a gift to a good friend of mine......she was always too busy to keep up -- so I gave her 4 hours of free house cleaning. I've never given anything so well appreciated. She was thrilled.

Just open your mind and get some spirit....it will come to you.

We don't bother buying/making gifts for adults.

A nice holiday card will do - if that.

Get them something they need. I've been banging the "need versus want" drum to my kids now that they're old enough to comprehend the difference. They don't like that drum very much, but they get it.

Figuring out what someone needs versus wants is 100% easier than the latter.

I agree with HeySal...homemade stuff can be a real hit! one year I was broke also so I made chocolate truffles with liquer and put a dozen truffles in a nice Christmas container for each of the adults on my list. They loved them.
