I had to be at work at 7am and as i drove through tampa at 630ish the malls were packed out. There was no way i was getting into that mess. Did any brave warriors hit the sales and did you get any good deals? I heard best buy had excellent deals available.

I did. Went to the Apple Store at Menlo Park Mall and got my daughter
a Macbook PRO. I'd say there were about 50 people in that tiny little store
at the time. And still we got out of there in less than half an hour and were
    waited on right away.

    Now THAT is service.

My wife went to Toys'R'Us and was about 100 people back in the line at around midnight. She had our 9 month old baby with her.

An employee took her out of the line and let her go in first without my wife even asking. The employee did this because she had our baby and it was raining (even though they were out of the rain).

Long story short, my wife almost got beat up by 100 people that were pissed off because she got to go in first.

About 15 years ago, I was talked in to doing this at the Woodbury Commons Outlet Center in NY. Normally on Black Friday, it gets so crowded that it CAN take as much as six hours to get out of the parking lot.

Well, that one shopping excursion ruined me for life.

    I still have nightmares...
