I took a road trip to my old town over Xmas that i grew up in; Knoxville, TN.

while i was there i really reflected on the awesome memories i had growing up as a young boy in the old neighborhood. It was a great and wonderful childhood full of 'tom sawyer' like adventures including spelunking in the neighborhood cave, kick the can, backyard baseball games , camping out in our woods ,and countless other activities that young boys partake in. .

So for 2025 (outside of my wife and two daughters) i want to pay tribute to the incredible memories of a childhood well lived!!

cheers to a great 2026

And let's here some of your past memories in 2025 that you are thankful for

There are a lot of things I'm grateful for from 2025. Family, good food, AC, a car, healthcare, the internet, good entertainment, being able to watch or follow news, following my favorite team, and much more. With all my problems, at least I don't have to face them living in a hut with no toilet, no running water, inconsistent food, no AC, and having to walk everywhere.

But there is one thing that stands out from 2025 that was a night-and-day, life-and-death kind of change. I received a new friend--a tiny device implanted in my body that changed my life and gave me hope for more life. It is an absolute technical miracle that has been around for ages, and I knew they had them, but I never thought one day I might need one.

2025 has been the most meaningful year of my life. I experienced happiness and pain together. Someone special entered my life and brought joy, but I also lost the most important person--my father. I miss him every day. This year changed me forever.
