Timothee Chalamet: Just not convincing ...
i saw the movie 'Marty Supreme' today with my wife.
Timothee Chalamet is the lead character who is a world class wannabe ping pong player.
I didn't like the movie at all and his character was a big turnoff to me even though in the last fifteen minutes of the movie he became seemingly a 'human' with empathy.
But such a very unlikable character all the way around for the whole movie. How he got Best Actor at the Golden Globes is beyond me .
Plus on top of this Chalamet as an actor is just not believable as a leading man. He lacks in the charisma department and just doesn't hold down a role like Cruise, Pitt, or even Jude Law,
i mean iam no Robert Redford myself but this guy having woman swoon after him is just unrealistic. I will give him an Academy Award for Bob Dylan as he was amazing in that movie. He really was but let's just pull the reins back a little bit on him!! lol
