Anyone watching the Super Bowl this Sunday? New England Patriots vs Seattle Seahawks? Anyone placing bets on who will win? Or are you just watching for the commercials or the Halftime entertainment?

Game time is Sunday, February 8, on NBC, at 6:30 pm EST.

    You betcha!

We don't get the same commercials as you, and I doubt I'll be enamoured with the half-time show this year - what is it, Fat Rabbit or something? - but looking forward to a close game.

yep , looking forward to all the festivities. It's a great time ,and it will be alcohol free for me since giving up drinking for good in July.

But i will be rooting for the Patriots. Also look forward to seeing Green Day at halftime show

Oh yeah, man! I'm with you. I also gave up alcohol once and realized that a Super Bowl would be more interesting to watch on a sober mind

I think it's Bad Bunny? I'm not familiar with any of the entertainers.

yeah Bad Bunny, not real psyched about him but am curious to see what all the talk is about. The main thing for me is the commercials. Just can't wait

P.S. Yeah Don this doesn't have anything g to do with this thread but wanted to let you know your Rutger man , Dylan Harper, is really making a big splash down here with the Spurs. He is nineteen and just plays like a 30 yr old. Unbelievable talent , better than his Dad!!

That's good to see he's doing good in the pros. Slightly related.
I'm a Giants fan, and I have been following former Rutgers player Kyle Monangai's play for the Bears. I don't follow Basketball; however, in the news, there's constant discussion about the Knicks, the Nets, and some local college teams.

My house shuts down for two weeks during the Olympics. We'll miss the Super Bowl this time around.

Winter, summer, doesn't matter to me. I have respect for anyone who has the focus, willpower, and courage to devote their lives to being the best in the world. Competition on that stage fascinates me. My wife is the same.

While I'm not big into figure skating, some are saying the US team might be the greatest in US history. I've gotta see that.

By the way, just so we're all on the same page, the midgets wear the thongs. Claude and I dress in ghillie suits. They get weighed down by the mud, giving the midgets a sporting chance.

This thread aged like milk - those teams didn't even play in the 2026 Super Bowl lol. Also pretty sure Green Day wasn't the halftime show.
