Hi fellow Warriors I've got a quick question I would really like to have an answer for.

I have a dear friend that had heartbreaking experience with a kitten breeder in the Chicago area. He has started a thread on the ASPCA website regarding his experience and has received numerous responses. Basically he is trying to get some help for this 10 week old kitten.

He has asked me to help him get his thread positioned higher in the serp's. I have got it ranked #2 for a longtail keyword phrase very specific to the breeders suburb. I would really like to get it ranked for the phrases Persian cat breeder in Illinois and Persian kitten breeder in Illinois.

I have used Stumble and Digg and Digg really worked quickly. Google spidered the site the night he began the thread.

Does anyone have any other ideas on quick ways to get a forum thread positioned higher? And what search tool can I use to see exactly what page in Google various keyword phrases appear?

Thanks guys for any help you can provide. I really would like to help my buddy and get this breeder to treat this kitten and not spread this terrible disease to another family's home and possibly their kids.

Here is the link to his post in case anyone is interested.

I think this is something that would more likely work best marketing the effort offline, or at least marketing on local websites. You should find some Chicago area sites or webmasters that would be receptive to your cause.

Thanks for your response but I am not clear on what you are suggesting. I am not trying to market anything. All my friend has asked me to do is get his thread listed in Google for some long tail keywords (which I have done) and then get those listings on page one. His goal is to get his thread to compete with the breeder's ad. That way a prospective buyer would see both the breeder's ad and his warning and perhaps look more closely at the kitten

Apparently she is attempting to resell this kitten without treating it at all and this disease is highly contagious to both other animals and humans. Especially children! My friend would like to see the breeder do the responsible thing and treat this kitten before she sells it to another person and causes more harm to both the animal and the new family.

So my question is, what is the best way, using SEO techniques, that I can get Google to raise the threads page position?

I took your advice Catherine and created a Squidoo lens. I have never done one before but it is about time I learned anyway. It need some work but I'll see how it goes. I'll work on the hub page next. I have never done one of those either.

Thank you for taking the time to provide this suggestion!
