This is my house and outside right as you read it. I was in Punta cana about 4 days back, and while there it became -58 Degrees celsius here, which would be -72.4 degrees Fahrenheit

Well anyways, here's what my "tree" and outside look like right now:

Feel free to add if you have any pics or vids of your tree or outside right now! (Especially if it's somewhere warm!)

 Just kidding, I love the snow!

I live in Edmonton Alberta and this was the second coldest place on the planet last week - only Siberia was colder. Oh, and I work outdoors. Yippee

We live in the same place...LOL. That's what I was talking about. Luckily, before I left there was NO snow, and all of this shenanigans happened while I was away in Punta Cana!

      P.S.

      Look outside...it's snowing! lol

It's snowing like mad. That is why I am sitting here drinking coffee and chatting on the WF when I should really be writing some articles or something. Can't get motivated today.

Hay Mike, is that crab shack still there as you get off the causeway in St. Pete on the right?
Had the best crab cakes I ever ate.

Which bridge? There is the howard franklin which dumps into st. pete right at 4th street (thats the pic showing). There isnt anything on the st. pete side but highway. THen there is courtney campbell. That actually ends in clearwater but there are a LOT of bars and such there. There is a place called 'Sweaty Eddies' thats been there for years. Big on crabs and raw oysters.

You might be thinking of Joes Crab Shack on Courtney Campbell.
Its 'on the right' not too far after the bridge ends.

Festive type of place, casual party atmosphere, large outdoor area.

Hey, it got down to 50 deg. last night. There are old people dying of hypothermia in the streets of tampa right now. I'll probably have to share 275 with dogsled teams tonight on the way home.

I'm in a highrise in downtown Edmonton, outside my window it's snowing sideways. At least it's only -13C and the windchill is only -20C. Better than last week.

Well, HERE, in burlington MA USA, it is about 29f, 17f(about -8.33c) with wind chill. BTW Record low for december was -14f, hit in 1980. Record high was 78f hit in 1998.

    Dec 40°F 22°F 31°F 4.36 in. 78°F (1998) -14°F (1980)

Only Jan and Apr had records in this century. TEN of the coldest months records for cold days happened in the 1960s. AGAIN, the 1960s were probably about the time new products came into play that could have affected records. It IS interesting that the records span only 40 years, but even one degree can change a record. BTW LA CA spans about 60 years! Too bad weather.com doesn't have records for other coutries. Juneau alaska is:

    Dec 33°F 24°F 29°F 5.41 in. 59°F (1944) -21°F (1949)

    honolulu hawaii is:

    Dec 82°F 68°F 75°F 2.85 in. 89°F (1995) 54°F (1962)

ALSO, one has to wonder WHEN they STARTED!

Ah Australia. The best place in the world to have Christmas. Its the middle of summer, you can play outside and you can swim all day long.

Here is a quick pic I took of the front garden. You can see the Christmas lights hanging down.
