      Thanks Sal. I live in the suburbs of the major city in South Australia so we are pretty safe.

        Ron - stay safe!

        I was reading the article and saw the reference to 65 km/hr and when translated to mph thought "not too bad" - then saw the wind speed that had hit Western AU were the equivalent of a category 5 hurricane - that's is very bad!

        When I see mention of fire danger I always think of the livestock and the wildlife who aren't always able to evacuate. Can only hope the worst doesn't happen.

    Best of luck to you. We've been thru similar in San Diego 2 times in the last 4-5 years. 10s of thousands being evacuated.
