I'm posting this for Thom - whose computer died about the same time his first Grandchild was born, so he couldn't come in and spread the news.

Chase was born at 10:45 on the 23rd, (I think it was the 23rd, might have been the 24th) - he wasn't home for me to confirm that yet when I called back -- probably took a short trip to go see his grandson.

CONGRATULATIONS THOM, YOU ARE NOW OFFICIALLY A GEEZER.

Just talked to Thom on the phone. He's got a computer now and is rigging it get back online so I'll just leave the details for him to tell.

He says that it is a beautiful baby, though -- and, of course, we know that he is never biased! (And never a Granddaddy before either, eh, LOL). I will say that I've seen his daughter though and I can believe she'd sure be able to produce a cutie - never saw pappa, though!

So Thom - you need to get a pic up so we don't have to take your word for this one.

      Congrats to you Thom.

The first grandson is always the best (I have 5 )

Now get ready to spoil that little man the best you can.

        Thanks all!
I finally got a borrowed computer up and going.
I'll post some pics of Chase Thomas Miller tomorrow.
As for now, he was born at 10:45 am on Dec 23 like Sal said.
He weighted in at 6lbs. 12 oz. and is 20 in. long.
Both him and the mother are doing great and left the hospital last night.

Yes I will spoil him rotten:rolleyes:
I talked to the other grandfather who's in Texas.
We decided I'd take care of the motorcycles for him and he would take care of the rifles and bows. So at a young age he will learn how to ride and shoot

A special thanks to Sal for starting this thread for me.

LOL - This is THOM's grand kid we're talking about. I'm not thinkin' Robin Hood -- I'm thinking Granddad Easy Rider - Grandson Mad Max.

Finally I got the pics from my phone to this new, very old computer.
Here's Chase about an hour after he was born.

I know she looks 12, but she really is 21
Here's Chase with his mother, Christine.

And finally the one you all have been waiting for
                Chase with granddad.

    Hey Thom-G-Pa

That was my first thought when I posted - oooh little motorcycles (do they have the 3-wheel TRYKES/and guard wheels like for 2-wheelers (5-wheeler lol)

As you can tell I can't quite articulate it that's why I didn't say it the first time.

I just know they have Little Baby Harley Davidson Tee Shirts and other stuff.

Heard some news just after Sal's announcement - something about the Indian Chief Bikes issue. You are not a harley guy but what kind? not an indian either? norton? bmg?

I know you can appreciate them. From what I remember from the story they are back from the dead... Auspicious days to be born or reborn i guess!

I swear, Thom. Okay - you were right. He's really a good looking kid. Of course - they only look better from here on in.

Chris looks a tad tired there, LOL.

And you? You look as if you are fighting back some happy tears for the camera.

It's good to see you all looking so content. I love happy endings - and great beginnings, too.
