Any New Years Resolution?

I dont really care for a new years 'resolution'. I like to think of it more as a 'refocusing'. I dont reallly have anything specific, maybe getin in better physical shape, do more to stop midget on midget crime..something like that.

Anyone else have any resolutions?

    I don't really do resolutions. I am going to start on my novel, but not because it's new years - rather because everything else I was doing has been brought up to a point that I can now focus on it. I just hope the task is easy enough that I don't end up resolving to finish it for my 2011 resolution.

      I'm going to stop arguing with people with whom I have no chance of
      making any headway with.

      I have other things I can do to occupy my leisure time.

      In fact, I'm going to make a "Okay...whatever" button to just paste
      for my replies to those people.

        I tend not to make resolutions anymore seeing as I cannot seem to stick to them.

        I am sure I am the only one with this problem...am I right? LOL

      If you're referring to the handshake induction, it certainly is true and is very commonplace nowadays. Bandler and Derren Brown use it all the time.

    my resolution is always to not make resolutions.

    because i know i never keep them.

    to my mind, it invites tyranny to have a resolution.

    but i have been on a kick with 'Just Do It' for a while now.

    .. don't procrastinate, don't over-analyze, don't micro-manage (don't get 'paralysis by analysis')

    Just get it over with and 'DO IT!'

    That's what I am trying to do.
