Why is Sam Worthington getting all the roles?
Who does Sam Worthington's agent has naked pictures in the industry?
Who does Sam have something "ON" in Hollywood?
Look, he's a solid actor an all , but a LEADING MAN????
Terminator Salvation, Avatar, and Clash of the Titans...., I have seen two of these and so far, nothing about him makes me want to watch either of them again whether in rental or cable.
He's maybe a good solid 2nd, 3rd co-starring type actor, but I don't see how this guy is getting all these LEADING MAN/ STAR OF THE FILM parts.
He sort of reminds me of Steve Reeves, "MINUS" the body, the distinctive facial features, the "charisma".
Steve Reeves may not be the actor Sam is, although Sam don't seem to me to have THAT much more acting skill than Reeves, but Steve "fits" perfectly in his comic book type roles, sort of like Arnold.
The Rod Serling's Twilight zone is so well made, with such strong writing, story, production, timing, etc.,that ANY actor put in them would not matter, whether they were "premier" actors to be discovered, solid 2nd and 3rd string actors, or actors that simply are around, the Zone would still be classics you can never get tired of watching, and I think Sam is one of those kind of actors.
Why Rod could never duplicate that again is another subject.
None of the films Sam is in, so far, is something I would want to watch again.
He reminds me also of those sidekicks/co-stars Arnold had in Predator....., his sidekicks were good ensemble cast with interesting characters, but leading men that can carry a film, no.
