Warrior Forum is #1, But Who's #2?

I'd just like to say kudos to all the members and moderators that make the Warrior Forum what it is. Seriously, its the most helpful and engaging forum I've found online.

With that being said, I'd like to know of some other internet marketing/seo forums you frequent. I'm looking for a few good sites to test some forum posting techniques and strategies. Any recommendations are appreciated. And a list would be awesome. Thanks in advance!

I've read a lot here where folks think DP is #2.

    I don't think it's a compliment though...

#2 for what? IM in general, marketing in general? Traffic, members - what is the criteria. I think most folks have a set of forums/sites they visit.

Many warriors also have forums as well as newsletters. Some that come to mind are:

    Willie Crawford,
    Harvey Segal,
    Lynn Terry,
Tony Blake - though I've not seen him here in a while he does drop into the Friday night warrior chat every now and then.

As for newsletters I don't see how you can call yourself an Internet Marketer without reading Paul Myer's and Martin Avis' newsletters (can you spot the subtle social marketing there ;-) )

DP is Digital Point - its a website/master forum. It has its uses, but for webhosting I read theWhir instead of DP.

    best,

Go to Google, Bing, and Yahoo and enter "Internet Marketing Forum" into the search box. Your list is only seconds away.

      Hi,

You are lucky enough to land on this WF before you find DP.

If you are beginner in this filed, don't waste your time register for DP membership.

      Stay your focus here.

Otherwise you'll end up to no where due to information overloads.

Next, once you are 'big' enough...then you can see what's inside DP. As one of the replies above, you can earn some bucks in DP too.

That's all what can i say.

      Cheers..

I'm a member there. Haven't been there in ages though, so maybe I should say I used to be, maybe I've been deleted. It's a decent forum with some good people, but I get a lot more out of this forum.

    Definitely WarriorForum is #1.

Been hearing a little about DigitalPoint from a friend, and seeing as people mention it several times, I thought it was quite popular.

I was quite shocked at the no. of views it has around the same period of time I was viewing WarriorForum...

If WF had like 1000 viewers online at that time, let's just say DP had like 100 at the exact same time.

It is safe to say that WF has a much bigger pool of knowledge, education, and target audience than DP.

    Just stay here.

          I vote for:
          D
          igital Point

It's not that bad ... and they do organise the site into sections, e.g. there is a clickbank section. This means you get a post every 10 minutes rather than 10 a second like you do in Warrior forum, which reduces the chance of your question or comment being missed because there are so many competing comments and questions posted in the same nanosecond.

On the downside, there seems to be more beginners and promoters there posting, whereas here there are more experts.

Yup Digital Point would have to be #2 I believe. I don't think it's fair what some of the Warriors said about DP in a post or two in this thread. I'm not a regular there but I've actually learned some good, original stuff at that forum.

Abestweb, is a completely different "culture". To make it short, they will not tolerate an ounce of BS from anybody. And for some reason, they HATE promoting Clickbank products as an affiliate.. they're more about physical products. Which actually made me think hard about promoting Clickbank a few days ago, after reading some of the posts there.

Ablake used to be good, haven't been there in a very long time, though that was where I discovered WF originally I think, years ago.

Sitepoint also used to be really good once upon a time but geared more towards developers/webmasters not necessarily the type of people or "marketers" who hang out here.

There is no number 2 or 3 or 4.

Warrior Forum is the only Internet Marketing forum. It is the best. Did anyone mention DP?

What's that? Oh is that the place where they constantly say "Review Copy"?

The only serious forum i can recommend (besides this great place of course) is www.webmasterworld.com - also very serious and helpful people over there. It is mostly SEO & tech oriented - i love the SEO section over there (that is where i've learnt everything i know about it) but also an Affiliate marketing section which is rather small but there are also a lot of experienced hardcore marketers who are sharing some of their tricks and strategies

I disagree. Let's suppose I have a site to sell. Hmm... Warrior or DP? Warrior or DP? Let me see.... I think DP!!!

I want to promote a product and post the advert for free... Warrior or DP? Warrior or DP?

DP has it's uses. I suggest that people don't be religious about forums, each one has it's strengths and weaknesses.

Just be careful you don't become a forum junkie.

There are too many distractions as an im, look at the forums when you have a problem other than stick to a couple of times a week at set times.

If your a newbie stick to WF it is head and shoulders above the rest.

    Ok, you bunch of fanboys/girls!

I think he specifically mentioned he was interested in testing posting/commenting techniques and things like that. no need to turn this into yet-another-why-this-is-the-best-forum-ever.

If he didn´t get that with the other million threads about how good this place is he´ll never get it.

I personally recommend you grab every reference given here and check stats for those websites by checking alexa rankings and similar stat checkers. That way you can see the traffic numbers for each of them and get an estimate of what you can expect of each one.

I have checked in the past both Digital Point and Anthony Blake and recently the activity on both of them seems to be decreasing ( just my impression, I could be dead wrong).

Thing is there are dozens of sites that focus on specific fields of internet marketing so it really depends on what you are after. As for general sites that cover many areas, my personal opinion is that Warrior Forum is number 2 and not number 1.

Number 1 is The War Room. Hands down. No questions asked.

Heck... I´ve done it... I´ve turned into a War Room Fanboy meself :p
