Ok,

I finally going to get a desktop, so what do you think, Mac or PC.

My main reason for thinking Mac is im going heavily into video this year.

Depends. If you have one, get the other.

Sounds like you have a PC, so get a mac desktop.

The only reason I would buy a Mac is for media creation. Otherwise, PC!

Many stick to PC since it's what they know or because it's compatible with what they do at work.

Yeah, I like the PC's because I know they are compatible with most softwares needed for business.

I use both - but Mac mainly. I run Fusion software on it which allows me to run Windows apps as well.....

A few years ago I finally got tired of fighting with Windows over every stupid thing so I bought a Mac and I've never looked back. I love being able to just plug stuff in and have it work without spending half a day hunting down drivers or reinstalling software or whatever. It does take some getting used to but man I love editing video on a Mac.

If you use biz tools that are Windows only, just get a Mac and put Windows on it as well. Using software called Parallels, you can open up Windows in it's own "window" like any other program. Then, you have the best of both worlds.
