Is There Anything More Pathetic?

Than sitting here at 4:50 in the morning building backlinks because I can't sleep (yet again)? I guess at least I'm being productive, but seriously, the sheep assigned to counting detail are in full-blown revolt. I'm pretty sure they're gonna form picket lines soon and violence may ensue. They're really p.o.'ed.

EDIT: Hey, I have a question for link builders who do forum profiles... What's the weirdest captcha image you ever saw? I just saw one that said "genitalia ambidextrous." If I was starting a garage band, I swear that would be our name. LOL Somebody make me go to sleep. I'm beggin' ya.

Sorry. Carry on, all.

I have bought a few domains based on captcha's since they can be quite creative.

Ha! Cool! I might start doing that when I come across a really bizarre one. You never know.

Yeah, I have sleeping problems sometimes. Someone told me of a method to get to sleep and it actually does work for me sometimes.

Close you eyes and picture a black circle. Once you have the black spot make it do a figure of 8.......zzzzzzz forget about those lazy ass sheep lol.

Let me know how it goes if you try it

You work on the internet and the world is a 24 hour concept. If you ain't tired, who cares.

Do what you need to do, have a nap and get back to it! Or have some free time if you prefer. Whatever works for you.

What's the point of running your own business if you can't work your own hours?

LOL at the captcha offerings. I finally collapsed and slept the sleep of the dead around 7 am. That's how it is with insomnia... you go until your brain finally shuts down and then you collapsed for a few hours. 2 cups of joe later and I'm all set for another marathon. SWEET! Let's make some money today!

Want some quantum physics that will help ya sleep?
Different colors of light produce different waves.........if you can see these colors, you actually produce them into existence -sometimes called bio-feedback when working on this one.

Close your eyes - get comfy.
See a lightbulb in your forehead - in the "third eye" location. Now see your hand reach up and pull the chain on the bulb - it turns on to bright red. Now pull the chain again and turn the light to orange - repeat to yellow, green, blue - let yourself concentrate on the color of the light for a minute before you go to the next one. That color will have a wave pattern that your body will gear itself to as you think of it.
When you get to purple just soak into it and it will knock you out. If you want meditation without sleep, you must concentrate on the lighter shade of lavendar rather than just purple or you will snooze on your meditation.

Melatonin works better if you get it naturally in sunlight. The bottled stuff will become non-effective over time...and sometimes even cause problems.

Thanks guys. I tried melatonin a few years ago. No dice. Zilch, zip, nada. And really, I'm only fake complaining. I'm often at my most productive for a few hours during the peak of an insomniac episode. Everything extraneous just kind of melts away, and that's a great thing for ADD'ers like me. So the not sleeping thing is truly a double-edged sword.

Way back when, I worked third shift for about 8 years. Got me through 2 levels of college, but I think it permanently monkeyed with my sleep cycles. I haven't really been the same since those days... nights... whatever.

I love insomnia, I am more productive then than at any other time. Absolutely no idea why.

What is more pathetic than work in the wee hours is what I did last night - which was reading until 4 am because the new Greg Iles thriller was so damned good! I'll have to follow your example and just go back to work when I can't sleep.
