October 14 - We're all going to get abducted (or something), apparently..

For reasons which I wont bother going into, I regularly search YouTube for information regarding the UFO phenomena. 99% of the videos make me laugh. If you go to any UFO video on YouTube, you will see a single comment on just about all of them (using one of my many accounts) saying simply:

"Swamp Gas"..

Which I thinks quite humorous, when the video has tens of thousands of views and 5 stars all the way. Call me a troll, but the bigger the reaction I get, the funnier it is to me. Especially the people that declare, emphatically: "How on EARTH could you NOT believe after seeing THAT???". I just think it's hilarious. Sorry, but I do. I wont beleive ANYTHING I see on YouTube. The video editing technology these days is astounding. On the other side of the spectrum, I've seen enough blurry and shaky blobs and dots to last me an eternity. I think people are just far too gullible.

Now, as far as I can see -- this "New Age Movement" is the spearhead behind most UFO videos, articles, websites, books and just about everything else you can loom up relating to UFO's and unexplained phenomena.

That's all well and good, but I have a question. Why is it that the average New Ager seems totally spaced out? Why is it that they all recite practically the same things? Half of them finish every other sentence with "Namaste" (which is an Indian term that means respect), and all they talk about is love love love. I haven't got anything against love, but if I didn't know any better, I'd be inclined to think that something is hypnotizing all these people. Too much meditation?

Now, before any New Ager's get upset with me -- this thread isn't about bashing New Ager's or anything like that. I just think you're all weird is all; sorry.The whole thing here is that there's a lot of talk about some UFO's showing up in the skies on the 14th of October and it has me intrigued.

I don't know if anything is going to show up. I know that in this world, practically anything is possible. That's not to say I believe that Aliens from another planet will "grace our skies", but if something DOES show up -- then I submit that what ever it is is evil and we should be very wary. I have reasons for my views too.

Before I continue, let me post this video from the person that (as far as I can ascertain) started all this "14th of October: talk. She made this video months after all the rhetoric started:

Now, I don't really know who this woman is -- because as much as I search for UFO information, I really don't mix with the crowd. I have no need -- and like I said, I think most of them are plain out weird. Nevertheless, as far as I can gather, this woman is respected by many and apparently well known amongst New Ager's.

She seems like a level headed enough person -- and is probably a fantastic woman. If I met her and she wasn't saying anything about UFO's -- I'd likely see her as being totally normal. But I just came across this video which has over 5,000 views in 2 days and 5 stars. I am really sorry, but I have to say it -- if this guy isn't positively POSSESSED, then I don't know what is:


He's not the only one either. I could go and get ENDLESS videos of people that are "really" weird and seem so spaced out and not connected with reality. People who go on and on about love and enlightenment and UFO's and aliens and all that.

I wont interject with what my beliefs are, because that doesn't really matter for the purposes of this thread. The main reason I made this thread is to offer a warning sorts. I have reason to believe that some pretty weird things are going to start happening before the end of this year. Don't ask me what. I can't be bothered explaining -- but I' not buying this "alien" story.

99.9% of people online who promote these types of things all say exactly the same thing. Aliens are coming here to increase our "vibration" and increase our love and usher us into a new age. You hear all this talk about 2012 and the Mayan calendar and Nostradamus prophecies, and Nibiru and, well.. the list goes on.

I don't really want this thread to become a "battle of beliefs". We can do without that sort of thing. I know for a fact that if I voiced my views, the thread wouldn't last 10 seconds. So lets keep religion out of this, so that the discussion can move forward.

What I would like is for you to give me your opinion on this so called 14th of October. You don't necessarily have to interject with "why" you believe what you beleive. Just what you believe by itself will do just fine.

For example: Have you heard anything about this 14 of October thing? If so what is your opinion? If not, then what is your opinion of people who do believe all this stuff? Am I alone in thinking hat New Ager's are odd?

As far as I am concerned, I think this whole New Age Movement is really spaced out. I just don't trust it. I see too many characters within its structure that give me the shivers -- and I am absolutely not being sarcastic or vitreous. I am stating what I see in a frank manner -- even though it probably wont cause some people who read to jump for joy.

Anyway, basically -- I just want other people's opinions on all this. Please try to keep it clean. I can foresee this thread getting out of hand. Moderators -- if it does, can you please just sort out the people responsible and not close the whole thread? We're all grown adults. We should be able to carry out a discussion such as this without anyone getting their knickers in a twist.

    I'm not a New Ager, but I keep my ear to the ground for legitimate 'prophecies' for this time period. Not heard a thing about 14th October. Many of the 'predictions' seem to be talked about for 2012, when a lot of people do think 'change' of some kind is coming. Many can sense something in the air. *shrug*

    Can't say the New Agers are any weirder than anybody else. The only people who tend to be alarmed at them are usually those who have a belief in religion and the whole "beware false prophets" thing I would imagine is what makes them suspicious.

    Many of the Religious Right in the US, especially the fundies, give an awful lot of people around the world the 'shivers'. Frankly I'd rather have the nutty New Agers in charge but that's me.

    You might wanna google Project Bluebeam. That's kinda....interesting.

      What is with the new agers and "love"?

      One part of it is the anti-war movement which is propagated by pointing us toward fear and loathing of another culture. You can't kill people if you "love" them. Same with the peace and love days of the Viet Nam era. We were politically pushed toward hate, and our natural instincts were against it.

      Second part is spiritual philosophies of the Mayans and their calendar - and the book of Revelations in the Bible. Many feel this is the end times....among the 2012 crowds, love is a higher vibrational emotion and adopting the principles of love is adopting a more devine virbrational pattern that will allow the believers to ascend when the end time comes - this translates into Christianity as the "Rapture". Among the Christians there are now many ministers who believe this is the end times revealed in the book Revelations, and being that the teachings of the Christian messiah is love - those wanting to ascend rather than to be left in a hellish form of earth (well more hellish than this) will adapt the principles of love and acceptance.

      As far as October 14th, I'll have to google that one, however - there is a "conspiracy theory" that BushCo is going to use satellites to produce a holographic production in the sky that will look like an Alien Invasion and whatever these "aliens" are going to Tell us via audio technology of some sort will bring the world into a single religion. There are also rumors that our troops are going to be positioned around our country on 10/5 (tomorrow?) for the quick and handy installation of Martial law. That might have something to do with the anger over the Bail out - might be over something else.
      Now again - that is just "conspiracy theory" at this point --- but let me also remind those who think that discredits an idea automatically to look at how many "conspiracy theories" in the last few years have proven to be uncannily accurate. At least those who hear the conspiracy theory and then see the holograph will enjoy the show. Should be worth popcorn and a few beers.

        Here is a must see. At least for the sake of a good laugh. I'm sure some of you may have heard about this, but just in case you haven't, I will fill you in. A number of you have written me about this, and I want to set the record straight.

        There is a web site called Escape the Illusion, which claims that on October 14, a giant UFO will visit Earth, Alabama, to be exact. You might ask, "How do they know this?" Well, how else? channeling, of course.

        As you may know, channeling is the ability to receive mental telepathy from another person, or in this case, consciousness. The group claims to have received a message from the "Federation of Light." Now, you probably already know what I think about this, but do go over and check out the video on youtube, and tell me that I haven't lost my mind. Here is what the group is saying:

        Blossom's most recent book "The Bridge," documents the messages channeled to her by the Cosmic Beings known as The Federation of Light. In her most recent encounters with them, they have announced that one of their craft will appear in our skies on October 14, 2008, for a period of three days in such a way as to prove to us the existence of other life forms in the Universe. The Federation of Light stress that they come in LOVE to help us, and our planet move to a new Higher Vibration of Love. They have asked Blossom to get this message out to as many people as possible.
        Haven't looked any further - but I do know when I was in Washington there was a commune in Troutdale (at the base of Mt. Adams) that claimed there was a vortex there and that they were in periodic communication with an alien through this vortex. Federation of Light sounds familiar but I'm not sure it's the same thing.

        I have to say, too, that I experienced some extremely unnerving events out in that area of Washington (a bit east of it actually) but I'm not at all convinced that it was a vortex and I never saw any aliens (that I know of anyway). Vortex would be more believable to me than aliens, but for my money there's some pretty wild goings on there and it could be governmental and that possibility scares me a hell of a lot more than aliens from the form of events that were going on.

            I guess I'm not surprised by much of the YouTube crap that people put online. Attention seekers, jokesters, those with far too time on their hands.

            What is surprising to me is that others people WATCH this crap. I hardly ever even start a video posted on the WF - or anywhere else.

            Never mind "seen and not heard" - that kid is too ugly to be on camera! He's also a poor actor. I made an exception and watched almost a minute of that video - a minute I'll never get back.

            More interesting is that after a post like this - other members go right into their standard conspiracy, aliens, etc stances.

            If aliens want to visit me, that's fine. Not sure I'd be able to distinguish from a few people I know, but I'll go "home" with them as long as I can take my dogs with me. I've always thought it's arrogant to believe we are the only life in the huge universe - but any other species who could visit us here would likely take one look and move on to the next planet in their quest for "intelligent life".

    LOLOL. You've just give away your 'affiliation' there. Religious huh? Heard of Esther Hicks and Abraham? Ramtha? It's called channeling and it's been very big in the USA since the 60's for some reason. Lot of 'em in California.

    Some of them might be genuine, some of them might be psychologically disturbed, others are probably deliberately milking it for what they can. Money/attention? Who knows! I think that guy is in the latter camp. Reason? Can't be doing with the funny voice. It's a personal prejudice.

    I liked the woman, she is down to earth (heh) and can laugh at her self which is always good. Wish she hadn't chosen such a stupid name though.

    Be interesting what her excuse will be if a craft doesn't turn up. If one does and it just sits there, everyone will ignore it. There were a pile in Mexico a few years back, they were there for days and thousands saw them. Talked about on Talk Shows and in the Mexican Parliament. What does it mean, who are they etc?? Then everyone forgot about them and carried on with their lives.

    If it starts beaming people up or something, well that's not something you see everyday. But then there is some prophecy from a Hopi Elder (think this dude is still alive) and he says something is coming in the sky which will shake us and terrify us. Don't get up on your roofs to greet it. That's like very bad! Like really. If you do, you'll be taken somewhere and badder things will happen. Those who don't get fooled and stay behind, well they'll be hunted like dogs by the evil forces running this planet. Screwed either way, whatcha gonna do?

    Remember though that the Hopi lands are very close to Dulce Airforce base where a lot of 'mind control' gadetry is played with (and a lot of UFO sighting near there). So that could be a fake prophecy that the evil guys want you to believe, and then you won't fall for the Love Machine that's coming.

    Wouldn't be so snippy about the Love thang if I were you. Didn't JC himself go on about that? In fact all the Great Teachers do. Even normal people would likely agree that we could do with more of that on this planet, especially now.

    You wanna see one who'll really tick you off? I stumbled on this one a few weeks ago. Never wanted to slap a child so badly before. He's the very definition of "children should be seen and not heard". No idea who he is Channelling or what he is claiming. Probably just an attention 'ho.

    He doesn't mention October 14th as far as I can tell, )only listened to him for a few minutes as he got on my nerves.) He just says the 2012 thing is a Reptilian deception. LOL.

      What is the difference in english middle class, low class, and upper class accents? Of course I wouldn't be able to tell one from another.

      Oh and does anyone know how you can channel aliens? I have a huge list of people I want abducted (and hopefully kept up in deep space and never returned to earth) Maybe I can make friends with the aliens and they'll oblige me. Oh that's a great idea.

      Oh I have another brilliant idea. Someone should write a "guide to communicating with aliens" and list it on clickbank. Now most people wouldn't hand you such a brilliant idea on a silver platter to make huge profits from, but I simply can't use of all of my brilliant ideas myself :p

        Working class accents tend to drop the beginning and end of words and even miss words out of a sentence. I have the same accent as the Gallagher brothers from Oasis. Typical working class accent from the North of England. There are many, some quite nasal - the Beatles had strong Liverpudlian accents - Ringo still does. Southerners are more broad - you might be familiar with Michael Caines accent (he always gets confused for an Australian by Americans). At it's most extreme, think Audrey Hepburn in My Fair Lady.

        Hugh Grant has a 'middle class' accent. It's kinda posh "BBC English", all the words are pronounced properly. All those old British movies are using BBC English (also known as 'Received Pronunciation'). I think when English is taught as a foreign language they'd teach that. Which of course means while we oiks can understand foreigners who speak good english, they can't understand us. I recently had a phone conversation with a lady in Singapore; she spoke delightful English with a slight French accent (she is Malaysian). I understood every word she said. Unfortunately, in spite of putting on my posh 'telephone voice' and speaking slowly, she understood very little of what I said. We stick to emails now.

        Upper classes, or toffs, have a weird way of speaking and strangulate their vowels. Strangely they can pronounce some words very similar to working class Londoners. If you listen to the Queen she pronounces 'house' more like 'hice'. Tracey Ullman (is she still around?) used to play a few characters with that accent. Working class Southerner would sound more like 'arrse and a Northerner would sound roughly like 'owse

      If Aliens are around here and see what kind of weapons are being put into the skies, it's hard to believe that they wouldn't stop it all. When we want to destroy our own planet that would concern only us - but when we start taking it into space, I can't see us getting too far with it without intervention if there are truly beings capable of intervening.

    I get the love thing -- and I'm all for it. However, the New Ager's don't have any (at least not that I see promoted) philosophies on how to manifest that love, besides speaking in a monotone voice, and "saying" again and again "It's all about the love". It's all too cultish for me. Plus they're always going on about the God within and the greater self, etc. I don't even subscibe to such views - yet I know about it because all the rhetoric is so heavily promoted.

    Well I guess one might call me "religious" -- but I am pretty emphatic that I am not. See, I can't stand "religion". I never could and never will. Religion is one of the biggest evils of this world. Most people seem not to be able to detach a belief in God from being "religious", which is why it's very hard for me to try to explain what my "affiliation" is - lol. But suffice to say, I have no qualms in stating that Jesus is Lord. I'll leave that there.

    ..and regarding that "boy". It's actually a woman from South Africa. I've seen her on YouTube many times before. Yeah -- she's real confused. A capital product of the New Age movement if you ask me. This is how you end up if you believe all that channeling hocus pocus.

    ..and to all. Basically, I don't believe no Aliens are going to show up on the 14th. But I am suspicious that something might very well appear in our skies on or around that date. The reason I say that is that the corporate media has gone to extraordinary lengths over the last year or so to promote this alien propaganda. Why are they doing it?

    I think all this talk has reached a critical mass. I don't think this alien thing could possibly get much more attention than it's getting now. Larry King seems to be doing an Alien segment every three days. Astronauts are coming out openly stating that they've seen aliens and UFO's. Leaders of countries and other government officials are on the bandwagon. Heck - even the Pope is on the bandwagon stating that we're not God's only creation.

    I smell a rat, and I have to say -- I have a pretty good nose for rats. At this point in time I am highly suspicious about some form of trickery or deception. It seems to be written all over the wall.

        Yeah Project Blubeam is just one aspect of deception which I can smell coming down the pipeline. I don't care if I see dancing Bin Laden's floating through the sky playing a flute. I wont believe it.

            Come on! It's a simple mistake. Southern State/Southern Hemisphere. Any visitor from another planet could make that mistake.

                I've never read anything about October 14th till today. Amazing how much stuff is on YouTube.

                I watched a documentary the other week called Phoenix Lights which was very interested. I'm wondering if many others watched it.

                Won't post my views but long ago I've read about what's called the Galactic Federation which resides in the 12th dimension...

                With all this crap going on with Wall Street and Capitol Hill nothing will surprise me anymore. lol

    Someone should write a "guide to communicating with aliens" and list it on clickbank.
    Now you're getting the idea! The New Age Movement will help you to make a LOT of money out of stooging people up. Basically, all you have to do is tell people any tall tale from the heights of your imagination, and if you use the word "love" 3 times in every sentence and finish every sentence with namaste, they will BELIEVE you. You can make a LOT of money being a guru.

        Well, not being from Alabama, I can't testify that the aliens didn't come today - but I've seen no news about it. Traffic is normal. It was cloudy though, so it's all to possible my fabulous view of the fleet was just blocked. I wonder if they will be touring before they take back off. I'd sure like to meet a few of them.

        Of course, there is always a possibility that Petunia whatsherface will have another amazing communication with them that Bushco was playing with the project bluebeam buttons and accidentally threw out a holograph of earth and the aliens just got side tracked for a bit. Will teach them to watch their navigation equipment instead of looking out the windows at such speeds, eh?

    This whole idea of communicating with aliens is all wrong...

    A long time ago, in a galaxy far, far away, there was the TrueLight. As the TrueLight spread its force through the 5th plane of Universal Being it encountered a strange phenomenon - the Yul'sa, which translated means Blindness to Light.

    See, that's the problem. We have been inculcated to believe that the opposite of TrueLight is darkness, but it's not - the opposite is the inability (or refusal) to see what is around us.

    So, we do not need to learn how to communicate with aliens, or dwellers on the other planes, but rather learn how to open up our hearts and minds to let their message come through.

    In that way Yul'sa will be extinguished and TrueLight will be able to move freely through all planes - including ours.
