Let me start off.

This is the ending scene in Rambo: First Blood.

Sylvester Stallone is so under-rated as an actor.
And his rant about being an outcast vietnam vet
really moved me.

Now...do you have any particular movie scene that touches
you or you found extremely memorable?

Post them here. Let's see what you got.

This is one of my all-time favorite movie scenes...It's Stacey Keach's first role in the movie "The Life and Times of Judge Roy Bean", with Paul Newman. They cut a great line from the video...

After shooting Bad Bob in the back, someone tells Bean (Paul Newman), "You shot Bad Bob in the back, you didn't give him a stand-up chance."

Bean replies, "Stand-up? Hell, I was lying down to steady my aim!".

Also, virtually the whole Cat Ballou movie, but this scene is classic. About 6 minutes into this clip, Lee Marvin shows up to defend Jane Fonda's father's farm, but it turns out that he's no longer the legendary gunfighter she expected to see.

Actually, I was going to post my favorite scene from Cat Ballou but couldn't find it on Youtube.

It's the scene where BOTH Lee Marvin AND his horse are drunk and passed out, leaning up against a building, and the horse's front legs are crossed. One of the funniest scenes of all time.

One of my all time fav's for so many reasons!

I love to dance, I'm a die hard romantic, I always root for the under dog, I can't stand injustice and prejudice, and believe that love transcends "classes", I hate snobbery..I could go on and on, but this scene evokes tears of joy from me every time!

It was really sad to see Patrick Swayze die, he was definitely a favorite actor of mine. Some of my favs were Road House, Red Dawn, and Point Break.

Coming from a guy, would like to admit dirty dancing was a great movie.

What I find interesting is that it was based on a story by Stephen King. A short story (or maybe novella) no less.

      Anyway...

      And this one too...

Thanks Jag82 - I guess I've always just skimmed past that part. As a teenager I loved this movie. But when I watch it any more, the smell of cheese usually has me gagging before it gets to this scene. Truly is a good scene.

I tried to find my favorite scene, which was Tom Joad's farewell speech to his mother in "The Grapes of Wrath". But I couldn't find it. It's a Great scene, which actually inspired a great album:

Man, off the top of my head, there's a tons.

First I have to say I agree with you on Stallone, lots of people make fun of him. But his acting in First Blood was just plain superb, no one could of done it better.

But the very most memorable movie scene, off the top of my head I would have to say the intro to predator. Movie was bad ass!!!

Stallone acting in First Blood is indeed superb.

He's really under-rated. People think he is all
muscle and action. But he can emote really well.

Just watch Rocky. Real fine actor.
