Hi Guys,

Most have seen by now that the breaking news of the O.J. Simpson trial has resulted in a guilty verdict on all 12 counts and could mean some serious jail time for the hall of famer.

Some people seem to think it was almost impossible for this guy to get a fair trial after what happened 13 years ago regarding his acquital.

Reactions around the world seem to be kind of mixed at the moment as the news begins to circulate.

I can't help but wonder how it may have been different if it wasn't O.J. but just an average citizen who went back to claim his stuff that was stolen from him although of course having gunmen along to hold people hostage seems a bit over the top.

What do you guys think?

If OJ was an ordinary person on trial for a double murder 13 years ago, it is highly doubtful he would have got away with it. Not only, he would probably have got the death penalty as well instead of the life imprisonment asked for by the prosecutors. Everything he did since reinforces the predominant view that he was guilty.

A violent break-in is a violent break-in. Although in this case, there are a lot of mitigating factors. So all would really come down to how long a sentence he will get.
