A question for the kindle owners

Hi

I want to buy a Kindle, but before I shell out the moneyI want to know few things-

1. Have you ever transferred a PDF file directly to the kindle? Does it work?

2. Some turn-offs about the kindle

    I have the Kindle DX, and yes, you can transfer pdf files directly to it. I thnk you can do the same with the lower cost Kindles as well.

    For reading pdfs, it's awesome. However, I don't really like that you cannot do much file management (like create folders and sort PDFs), but all in all, I like it very much for reading the massive amounts of PDFs I've accumulated over the years.
