I'm currently reading and digesting "As A Man Thinketh" by James Allen.

The book is the bomb anyday, anytime.

One thing I have learned from the book is the power of thinking out-of-the-box.

    Emily, my friend,

You need to read the book if you haven't read it. In case you have read it before, you need to go read it again.

I've just started reading For Whom the Bell Tolls.
I already saw the movie a long time ago, and I just spotted the book in my aunt's library.
I have to say that I really enjoy it.

I've had that book in my library for over a year now, just haven't gotten around to reading it.

Just finished George Orwell's Animal Farm earlier today, almost finished with Fight Blub (loved the movie, thought I should probably read the book), and finishing up with The Way Things Ought To Be by Rush Limbaugh.

Some great books mentioned in this thread.

I'm currently reading Tipping Point - Malcolm Gladwell.

I'm also reading The Master Key System by Charles Haanel...when infact this is a 24 week course, and not your typical book. Incredibly powerful..and I'm only on week 6

But I do read Stephen King's work, so I'll check out Under the Dome.

I'm currently reading Tipping Point - Malcolm Gladwell.
I finished it last week. A good book, but a lot harder to read than 'Made to Stick' which I read first and was based on the research in Gladwell's book.

For business I'm currently reading his 'Blink' book.

For fiction I just finished The Rise of Endymion by Dan Simmons and I'm waiting for Jim Butcher's latest Dresden Files book to be released.

Some great titles from you all and much food for thought.

I recently read "47 Hearts" from Dr Mani

    and am currently reading

"The Places In Between" by Rory Stewart

If you ever start to feel the need for a boost, I recommend
these two for inspiration and determination.

That applies to both the books and the authors.

I'm getting some great reading ideas from all you warriors.

At the moment, on the cards are some of the works of my favourite Ted Dekker, before I start on "Green" as someone mentioned on Amazon it's best to heave read The Lost Books and The Paradise series before hand...

One of the best I've read lately is "The circle trilogy: Black, Red, White" from Ted Dekker, highly recommended to Sharon Tidball who's reading The Shack... I'll have to read this one as well

    Cheers from Sydney

Poor Charlie's Almanack is awesome. I'd rate it 10 stars.

There's also a great list of books in the back that he recommends....wealth and poverty of nations, guns, germs and steel, cialdini's "influence" (which you see referenced on this board a lot), and books about Darwin and evolution. A lot of worldly knowledge.

Finished this one when it was released (2004 if I recall). Really enjoyed the entire Dark Tower series.

Finished "Under The Dome" - Overall, not a bad book, but not one of his best. I was let down a bit by the ending. I won't say anything more in case others are reading it...

Finished Under the Dome as well. I found it interesting that King actually had the idea for the book 30 years ago, but apparently didn't have the guts to write it... I guess you could say it's technically one of his first
