I am still trying to make my first dollar, i wish there were more mentors out there that could help you one on one and take ya through a process.

2001 I was doing safelists and a mailer service. It actually did ok

Lets see, 2001 I think was about the time I put out ebookfix.
It fixed a problem windows had with ebooks after the release of the first SP if I remember correctly. It was duplicated by many after I put it out.
I didn't make boatloads of money, but it was a excellent learning experience.

I was searching for some project regarding SEO and found some one on the internet from Scotland. One of the young guy he was. He gave me first project (trial Project) for 18 dollors and I submitted that project with in two days.

My first sale was 22.50. VIA affiliate sale on a mini site

My first internet dollars were made earlier in the decade by reselling just about anything I could get my hands on through E-bay... very labor intensive but provided a good second income . I have a good friend that still makes a mid 60's annual salary by reselling on E-Bay... "2007" I made a career change, got a promotion and gave up the online selling...

"2010" change good, promotion good , lifestyle sucks... made first IM dollars from squidoo lens ($3.00) Yippee!... it can be done. Made a few Affiliate sales since then, developing a Blog concept... will ramp up and duplicate any successes I have.

I think if you want quick money you better be prepared to work for it , e.g. provide a real product or a real service such as reselling vintage clothing on e-bay or offering your web development skills at Warrior Forums (don't confuse quick money with big money).

I think if you have the patience to build a business you can eventually see great successes at selling information products.... anyway you look at it, early on you will be trading your time/hours for cash. The secret is to minimize the hours and maximize the cash.

I started with some E-Commerce sites back in 2004....first sale was a pair of womens shoes...(size 13...to a guy in Seattle...go figure...lol)
