A day to simply be a slug and screw off

Do you ever take time to simply do nothing? I mean a day where you just lounge around, goof off, and get refreshed?

Today is that day for me. I have a lot of things to do on my list but my body said "no way" and I have not even showered yet. I've been flopping around the house, surfing the net, looking outside, day dreaming, and watching movies.

Feels good.

Got to take at least 1 day a week for "me time".

    Other-wise, you'll go CRAZY!

I spend a little down time every day - but I take a day and sometimes several at a time to do my rock hunting so get a lot of what I find relaxing in frequently. Funny you can climb a peak and feel relaxed. The campfire coffee at night beside the fire while watching the sky is always relaxing, too.

      H*ll yeah.

Maybe thats just the country boy in me though.

My idea of a good time, is pretty much identical. Anything outside, in the woods, ideally in the mountains, far away from civilization.

If I dont have cell service - even better.

I like to go "'seng" hunting. Growing up in the Appalachians, me and my father would routinely (and still do, when its in season and Im in town) grab a backpack, two metal poles, some food, and spend the day climbing through some of the only old growth forest left in the country.

It's alot of work; but it sure is fun. You find some cool stuff; A number of times we found caves with arrow heads, some art, and once even a "fire wheel" used for starting fires by the indians. (A square rock with a round groove in the middle)
