Big forum or small forum

My friend once told me,

"Do you prefer to be a big fish in a small pond, or
a small fish in a big pond"

I guess you know what does it mean? Do you prefer to be popular in a small forum, or not popular in a big forum.

Well I would go small fish in a big pond, because there is still many ways to get popular, and there are much more resources and information... but for me being popular is not important.

    I like to be both.. I go to BIG forums because we can get much knowledge from them!
    and I go to small forums to contribute to the community as those forums are newly opened so they need support

    Ideal with two monitors.
    You have your a small forum up on one monitor.
    And a big forum up on the other.
    And just copy and paste text.
    Use different usernames so it will not get boring to see only one username.
