Which of the zillions of astral projection techniques do you consider to be the best one? I simply love the rope technique because it works best for me, maybe because it requires no imagination and also because I enjoy rock climbing. So, it is the easiest thing for me to pull up an imaginery rope and find myself out of my body.

I like the vibrations method. Start at the toes and work your way to your head. Works every time...for falling asleep.

This is actually an interesting topic. There is some real evidence that "something" odd is happening to some people that claim this ability.

Maybe so Michael, this is because the mind is a mysterious thing.
I can't be hypnotized, but I am able to hypnotize others.
So, why can't I be hypnotized? Its not due to disbelief, because I know it exists.

Yea, lots of unanswered questions. Look at Edgar Cayce. He was a man with a grade school education but was able to go into a trance and cure people from sickness, speak different languages, and spout off engineering/mathamatical topics far beyond his knowledge. Amazing stuff.

Sure, a lot is garbage/fake, but you can't dismiss the small percentage that can't be explained, like Cayce.

Please do not 'release balloons' for celebrations. The balloons and trailing ribbons entangle birds and kill wildlife and livestock that think the balloons are food.

If you like unexplained things, find books by Charles Forte. Quite fascinating.

There was also a movie made recently called the men who stare at goats, or something like that which ,while the movie is a comedy, its based on fact, that the military actually investigated psychic powers for military use.

Thanks for the tip. I'll check it out...

I missed the Clooney movie, but plan on watching it. Actually, the military even experimented in this thread's topic, astral projection. They just called it Remote Viewing. I read there was some pretty interesting results.

YEAH, I have a special device to do it. The germans call it Fernsehen! Translated into English, that means far seeing, or seeing at a distance. I guess you could say it means remote viewing.

      Fernsehen ? Wikipedia

HECK, the MILITARY took a serious look at this technology DECADES ago! They use it in China, Russia, Germany, the UK, AND the US!!!!

      Fernsehen ? Wikipedia

      8-)

OK, TALK ABOUT HYPE! EVERYTHING I said here is TRUE! But some words don't translate 100%, etc....

FERN= Closest direct english equivalent, IN THIS CONTEXT, TELE
SEHEN= Closest direct english equivalent, IN THIS CONTEXT, VISION

      So fernsehen=television
