I got an iPhone the other day and I like it. I have had Sony Erricson for the last few years, and while they were good, their main problem was the connections that they use for power/head phone/transfers.

The connection get dirty and the clips break and power no long stays in. One of the most important parts to a phone and it was so poorley designed.

Great for you! I am eligible for upgrade with Verizon and that is on my wishlist.

1- I musta missed that question

2- 4 months...I know people who trade in their phones every time the newest cool phone comes out

Anyway, I have the Palm Pre. I like it. Small but has a good size screen. The web browser is 100 times better than the Windows based one I had previously. And the slide-out keyboard is nice, although the keys are a bit small for large-fingered people.

My plan comes with 3000 anytime minutes, unlimited off-peak minutes, unlimited internet, unlimited texting. I have 5 phones on this plan and I pay $204 per month (or just about $50 per phone for all those features/minutes).

Interestingly, we never crossed that 3000 minute mark even with 5 phones. One reason is 2 of them belong to teens, who don't talk much but text a LOT.

Yeah, that keyboard takes some getting used to

The biggest reason I did NOT got with the Iphone is the cost of leaving my current provider (Sprint). I took the deals which put us in those contracts. It would cost $150 to $200 per PHONE to leave.

And, frankly, I like Sprint a lot. Where I live their coverage is great, hardly ANY dropped calls and I LOVE their customer support.

I know a lot of people with Iphones and I don't think I have heard any real negative about it - except people who don't like AT&T.

I use a Nokia, pre-paid phone. It costs me about $100.00 per year.

I rarely use the phone, I never use sms though I do receive messages from my provider, I never send any sms.

I also use skype ..which is why I use my cell so little.

I have thought about getting an iphone or android phone but have resisted the extra expense for little use, though with the other features, I may tend to use it more, if I start traveling again.

My partner and I have been using Blackberry Curves for at least 2 years (great workhorses!) and he's gonna stick with that even with our new service plan, which by the way is $0/month. Ask me how.

I don't think it has all the cool apps the iphone has though and honestly-this is my first web phone I like the convenience of it but that keyboard is small and the screen is too compared to my monitor-lol.

I have two HD2s (obviously I'm only using one), and an iPhone that I am still rocking (only for the apps). But I also have a MyTouch Pro laying around as a back up.

I can tell you this the HD2 (despite being a WinMo phone) is the bestest, fastest, brightest, clearest (4" TV and movie theatre screen) device I've ever owned. I almost dont need an iPad at all since this thing is so freaking big. You better have a bluetooth headset or you will feel like you're holding a DVD case to your head.

If you're a Sprint customer you will get it this summer. It will be called the EVO and it will be an Android phone.

I am using a Nokia slide 6500 phone on the "3" network. The phone is nothing special but "3" support Skype so what I have done is buy a couple of WP-S1 phones and use them purely for free calls using Skype. This is the only network service I know doing this and is in the UK.

+1 for the Nokia 95 8GB it's been OK, but starting to shwo it's age now. Upgrade is due Jan 11 and undecided to switch to iPhone or got HTC/Android route. I guess we'll see how Apple handle the iPhone call drop issue.

    iPhones are way overrated.
I don't know what all the fuss is regarding the iPhone4... why does one have to be tied down to WiFi in order to video chat? Doesn't really make it "mobile"...

As for me, I currently have the HTC Touch Pro2:

Might get a Samsung Galaxy S series soon, we'll see....
