Why do these kind of things even surprise me anymore??

The things people do at times....I just wonder "what the hell were they thinking???"

LONDON -- Police have arrested two women at an British airport after they reportedly tried to smuggle a corpse onto a flight.
Police said Tuesday the women were detained at Liverpool's John Lennon airport "on suspicion of failing to give notification of death" of a 91-year-old man.
The BBC and other British media reported that the women placed the man, a relative of theirs, into a wheelchair and covered his face with sunglasses in a bid to get him aboard a flight to Berlin.
The women, aged 41 and 66, were detained Saturday and have been released on bail. They have not been charged and police say inquiries are continuing.

    I'd like to hear the backstory on this. You have to have a serious mission to go through what it would take to move a dead body. The story reads like he was alive and died in transit. He looks pretty frail in the pic, maybe he just croaked on the way there from all the moving

      That's what the women are saying happened...that he was 'fine' and moving and they thought he'd fallen asleep. Hell of thing to have happen huh?

    I dunno, I think if my choices were to die in a sterile hospital room or while being taken to the airport to fly with two women..doesnt sound like too bad of a way to go. I'd rather die that way than with tubes in every orifice of my body, eating jello and listening to hospital pages
