Some little tips for fellow Warriors,

Seeing there are quite a number of people are discussing Movies here. Would like to ask if you guys check movie rating websites before going for a movie?

I personally do that quite often. Have been using imdb.com, the rating there are always quite accurate. Any movies that is rated 7.5 & above are quite Watchable (worth to watch). (of course, you must look at the Number of Voters also, it should be at least with 5000++ for old movies & 1000++ for new movie to get a more accurate idea)

It is just a general guide. Of course, movie rating is very subjective. To some, a good movie is just a bad movie...

From imdb.com, sometimes can really find out some Movie Gem that are hidden (commercially not so much being advertised)

I don't bother with the ratings on imbd - if it looks good I'll watch it + I rarely see any film on imbd score highly.

For some reason I frequently seem to have different opinions than the ratings, although I do like to hear word of mouth reviews by others who's judgement is similar to my own.

With that said, if the ratings are done by an entire group of people the sample size is large enough that it is probably a pretty good indication of the general public opinion.

I'll have to check out Rottentomatoes.

    Kind regards,
