Do you own a Plasma or LCD? what is the brand? What do you like or dislike about it?
I see now they are priced within my budget (less that a grand)!!!

    I have a 42 inch LCD Dynex. CHEAAAAP and amazing only annoyance is the speakers SUCK but I just have it hooked into a sound system. other than that I LOVe this TV to death!

    I have a 47 incher Vizio in the family room.

    It's plasma. ( soft screen ) or is it lcd??

    Works like a charm except every now and then I get the dreded green screen and I'll have to cut power to get it back to normal again.

    Speakers are ok but I have a sound system connected.

    HD is like looking through a window instead of looking at a screen.

    Before you get a Vizio, read up on them and see if they've solved the green screen prob in their latest models - because I have one of their first models.
