Favorite Fast Food Joint

If we ever get a Sonics here that will be it.
For now I'd say Wendy's is the least offensive tasting chain or franchise.
As for locally, I'm partial to Jacks in Wynantskill, Teds Fish Fry in Brunswick, Hot Dog Charlies in Maplewood, and Jumpin Jacks in Scotia.

ThomM,
We recently got a Sonics here where I live and so far I am underwhelmed.
Which is a shame because I had heard so many good things about the.
Our first time there we got two burger combos and they were stone cold.
I do like their drinks though,and the couple of times I have had there breakfast menu it has been ok.

Good Afternoon,
Without a doubt, my favorite is Chic-fil-a.
In a strange way, their chicken sandwich is
like Coke, (the soft drink), in that no matter
how many times you have tasted or drank it,
it is as good as the very first time.

In spite of the fact, that I know I am committing
a slow suicide eating all that fried food, I know I
could eat it 3-4 times a week.

Take it for what it is worth.

Well that sucks

Sometimes it can be the staff though.
I only do fast food for two reasons.
I'm hungry and it is there or I'm hungry and don't feel like cooking.
I know Sonics has awesome drinks, at least so I've been told.
Not being a fan of the hamburgers or hot dogs they serve at any of the joints, it's what they put on them that matters for me.

Yeah, New store, new crew I was thinking,but I worked in food for many years, ans fast food or nice restaraunt, The grand opening is usually when they have their best managres there making sure everything comes out good. Even though I was underwhelmed, I was trying to make sure you understood I haven't given up on them yet!

I have a place up the street that moved into a closed up Hardees location called Wok-N-Roll. Yep....fast food Chinese! For about $8 I can eat til I can hardly beathe...

Down in Deland, Fl. is a Chinese all you can eat buffet on the main drag.
$5 for lunch and 8 for dinner I think it was.
For the skinny little guy I am, you have to roll me out of there when I'm in town.

Y'all are making me miss the ole Der Wienerschnitzel (i'm sure i killed the spelling of that!) I had growing up...could scarf down 2 chili cheese dogs without taking a breath they were soooo good.
Now, I very rarely have any fast food but get an urge for Taco Bell now n then and Wendy's chili can't be beat in the winter.

The kids like KFC and Sonic...
Those are pretty much all we will do on fast-foods.

OH, I keep forgetting about that! At my last job, in thousand oaks, there was a der wienerschnitzel near by. I LOVED it! It is too bad my DANISH aunt denigrates them so! I capitalized DANISH, because they have something they REALLY like! It is called a polse. They put it into a bun that looks VERY similar to the american equivalent, and even NICKNAME it like the american equivalent. HECK, they even FOUGHT with the EU to allow them to keep red dye #2, like the american equivalent USED to have. The NICKNAME, as if you haven't already guessed....... HOT DOG!

BTW whenever I wanted a hotdog, I asked for "en ristet polse uden remulade". I wasn't crazy about the red dye, so ristet got rid of that, and I wasn't crazy about the remulade. So I just got a hotdog. YUM!

Hard to name one favorite - it depends on what mood I'm in...

All the chains mentioned get some of my money from time to time, but I do miss my bag of greased hockey pucks from White Castle.

I guess that in terms of pure volume, I love the little Chinese takeout joints that are in just about every little strip mall down here. Walk in, order, and a few minutes later you "wok" out with a meal cooked fresh before your eyes...
