Sharks in Portugal - Scared the #$# Out of Me

Guys,

Last week, while surfing in Peniche, I could swear I saw a fin outside. Since no one else saw it, I guessed it was a piece of wood, or whatever.

Now, today, a friend send me the link above. It's a big shark in a beach not so far away from my home break. It was spotted YESTERDAY.



Can a shark expert take a look and tell me what species is this?

    Just got back from surfing and NO shark spotted.

    Guess that one ^^ went to warmer waters

      Lovely place you were surfing in - i stayed in Calda Da Rhaina a few years back.

      Liked it so much I bought some land to develop in Sao Martinho with some friends although we have never got around to building the villas!

      We may pop over in few months or after Christmas to look at the land, play a bit of golf and drink a few beers - It would be good to meet for a coffee or beer if we do go..
