All Senior Warriors Leaving The Forum? Today?!?!?!

Relax!!!

They're not going anywhere. At least, not today!!

But I need your attention on this.

Lately I've been checking A LOT of threads with precious advices from *senior warriors* getting hammered with stupid comments from some users, especially users with an agenda (so it seems).

It's insane.

People with 10 years in this industry share their expertise for free and what they get is just stupid replies from some morons?

Is it just me or is this getting common in WF?

It's not just you Fernando. I actually saw some droolers hammering Jim Straw....wanted to know if he actually makes money online, LMAO. One click on Google would have given them all the info needed to show this was a person who deserved respect and who could give them priceless information, but instead they were heckling him about "who he was".

There's not much you can do to fix stupid. And you are right, BTW. A lot of very vital people have left the forum already because they are sick of this kind of trolling. But it's much more important to look kewl in your own imagination than to actually thank someone for advice when you ask for it...especially if the answer doesn't please you.

Any questions about why so many fail at making their own businesses?

      Hey Sal,

I see people going away, people I admire, Warriors I respect and learn with. They post less and less.

      WE need them in HERE.

      Something HAS to change.

I've started using the private message more when I get the urge to offer serious advise or help.
I don't care so much about getting hammered, it's like getting into a fight with a football. Fun for a little while but then boring.
What I don't like is giving someone advise or an offer to help and you get deluged with others saying 'help me too'.
If I wanted to help a bunch of lazy yahoo's then that would be my niche.
        But I don't and it's not.

          Fernando,

It's been that way for as long as there's been the web. Before that, too, but not as much, since doing it offline required exposing yourself to people who could laugh right in your face.

Forums tend to be a bit more prone to it, because they're usually wide open and allow for more anonymity.

Add in the "teaching" that says you should go to forums and establish yourself as an expert. People get some ideas in their heads and create a "curriculuum" as their basis for proving they know what they're doing. Their plans require that they prove those ideas right, or admit they're not experts.

On top of that, you get the folks who are desperate and have to believe that what they're doing is the best way, and you've got everything you need.

Of course, there's always the A$$401e Brigade. A small but noisy part of the challenge.

It will never stop. It can be cut down quite a bit, but only by the members themselves. The moderators can only do so much without actually becoming the tyrants we're occasionally made out to be.

            Hey Paul,

Right above you made the best definition of what I see.

I know this will go on - after all we're humans and WF is a public place.

BUT I just can't stand it.

I can't help but to feel that if you have been around a long time and still not a guru or mega earner, then many newer members will regard you as a spent force.

There are alot of people that dont have to brag about what they make because they are not in the business of selling to marketers. There are more people making alot of money that are not "gurus"

The group known as "newer members" will have the same percentage as any other of overlap with the group known as "idiots." The fact that they occasionally make invalid assumptions based on their inexperience does not mean that anyone else has to treat those mistakes seriously.
