This is crazy! A drive-by crusie missile attack?

The billion dollar nuclear submarine is now obsolete thanks to Russia's new Club K mobile container cruise missile system.

Although the following video looks like a video game, it is a very real weapon system that can be bought for the bargain basement price of just $15 million...

Drop one of these babies onto a cargo ship, and any third-world country has an instant poor mans navy.

Put one of these suckers onto a truck inside another country, and you can launch an highly accurate, nearly stealth missile attack that would be almost impossible to defend against.

This is sure to cause more than a few headaches at the pentagon.

I don't know about you, but it sends shivers down my back thinking about who Russia's going to sell these things to.

I know what I want for my birthday!

So far as customers are concerned they can't be any worse than those the US, Britain and Israel sell to.

Like both the U.S. and Europe, Russia will (and does) sell weapons to whomever wants to buy them.

However, there are plenty of existing weapon systems that could be built into a cargo container using moderate engineering skills. No need to shell out U.S.$15 million for it (or to have a paper trail showing you now have such weapons).

(Hope they have them well secured to that cargo ship in the video though! If not, the moment you try to launch, the whole thing will tip over, and the only ship you'll sink is your own! )

I don't know what I find most bazaar.
That they have a video on YouTube promoting their missile or
that they used the theme song from Pirates of the Caribbean.

LOL! Who would really buy such an unproven system from them, even at the blowout price of just $15mil, after this "advanced" nuclear submarine missile test launch failure seen worldwide late last year:

Russia's Nuclear Sub Missile Launch Failure
That failed test was the sea launch version of the proven land based missile. They will work it out, like they have with all the others. Like the rockets NASA is depending on to ferry astronauts to the space station. Russia may make crap cars, but they make awesome missiles.
