Hi Warriors,
I'd like to get your insights and personal experiences around your content getting stolen on the web.
Mine recently got stolen and I wasn't aware for very long! And the person who did that simply copied it verbatim! What do you suggest I do? Had no such experience b4..

Just contact them to start with. Not accusative-like. More innocent-like. See what you meet with. Don't flare into a rage. See what you meet. Go from there. Tell us how that goes

Thank you for your suggestion. Already contacting them. Slow going though.

If they do not respond to the 'nice' routine, you can find out their domain registrar and hosting account.

What they are doing is illegal and you can request that their domain be suspended. You will have to prove it is your content though...

You may also need to press the issue if you do not receive a response - however, eventually they will have to respond (be polite and professional) but keep trying.

I would suggest as working with honey first rather than vinegar. Most people don't want to steal others material outright. Explain what they can do and cannot do is a start. You might find an advocate in there somewhere for things you might can use from them also.
