McCain Worker Mugged/Has "B" Carved in Face

This was done to her after the attacker saw the McCain sticker on her car. I'm in no way suggesting that Obama would approve, condone, or promote such activity. I know that he would not. I'm just posting this to show the absolutely insane levels some will take their politics to. Just a few days ago a McCain worker in New York had her sign ripped from her hands, and then was beaten in the head with the stick. And while I am certain, as I stated above, that Obama would not condone this stuff, it does not help his campaign.

HERE'S THE STORY:

Look at the crap you democrats and republicans are saying to each other here in the OT. Any thread that is political ya'll sound like 10 year olds trying to defend your candidate and degrade the opponent.
You know now some democrat will come in here now and reply with something stupid a republican did.

Man I'll be glad when this election is over no matter who wins.
Then we can all go back to bitchin about what an idiot the President is.

BTW, looks like you've got a nice bike. I ride a couple of them myself. Maybe we could start a motorcycle thread? Anyone else ride?

Hey, never mind about that McCain worker, because I used to have a Yahama 360 enduro. Cool little bike. Good for wheelies and very loud.

Thanks for the post Barry, I found it interesting to know people would get that upset about this election. I just got off another forum and it was getting hot in there, but that was just talk. I guess people must really be getting serious about this stuff.

    I ride a 2007 HD Street Glide, a 2003 Kaw Z1000, and just picked up a 1981 Honda CX500 that I am turning into a bobber.

I've got a K-Mart tricycle with fringes off the handle bars and a Mickey Mouse ringer. Can I join the club?

Luxury, speed, and fun. Can't go wrong there.
Never owned a HD before but I've rode a few including a 48(?) Knucklehead.
      I owned a 72 Kaw 750K and a 53 Indian 80 Chief in the past.

I just started working on the Star.
So far I've added V&H Short Shot pipes, K&N custom air filter, re-jetted the carb. I also moved the floorboards forward 3 inches and done a few other little things.
I thinking about doing an Iron Butt ride next spring and have a few things I want to do comfort wise this winter.

I'm chuckling about your CX500 bobber.
A friend of mine in Fl. has an old Virago he did that to.
I'd love to see some pics when you get it done.

I'm on a list with a bunch of cops and investigators and everyone suspected her story right away. This woman has restraining orders on 2 exboyfriends. I wonder if those accusations are false also?

The backwards B made me think she did it.. it is also fairly clean for being attacked. I am wondering if her ex-boyfriends want to finish the "itch" that she started =P

It is amazing what people will do to support their "cause" be it against an ex-boyfriend or to support your candidate.

I feel sorry for McCain campaign having being attached to this person.

Of course, being a Californian I get to deal with the Prop 8 crowd and I am surprised with how nasty that has gotten.

Oh.. and to keep this off-topic =P For a first on-road motorcycle, what do you suggest?

          I'll second that!

The big fuss locally is political signs being removed from yards here. My neighbor is on her third McCain/Palin sign. Gotta wonder - does removing a sign change their vote? It seems so far only McCain signs are being removed. How silly people are.

I would say it depends on a few things.
How much riding experience you have.
What type of riding you want to do (cruising or around town).
And which bike feels comfortable and controllable to you.

Seems the McCain campaign may have pushed this story with a good amount of gusto.
