I was trying to find out if any legal documentation is needed like terms, privacy for doing affiliate marketing?

I saw this web site about internet law and compliance it is vague about affiliate marketing. PLR pages it has a lot to say about.

I am just trying to find out do I really need this to do affiliate marketing,
because the webpages I would be sending people to already have that on the site.

Plesae Let me know Thanks Larry

Your best bet is to not do any selling directly.

    Here is what I do.

    1. Write article sending prospect to review page.
    2. Review page reviews product and sends person to sales page.

The only thing you then have to disclose on your review page is that
you WILL get compensated IF the prospect buys the product from you.

What I do is say, "This compensation allows me to bring honest reviews
of products to people like you looking for solutions to problems."

Let the sales page handle the disclaimers, privacy policy, etc.

      Thanks Steve
For the info I will check my review to make sure I have that in there about the compensation. How would this sound: My compensation for this product will help me bring you more step by step programs such as this one.

BTW I did signup for your newsletter always looking for more info.
I do have one question please bare with me just getting started and I
do not want to go the wrong way . On landing pages for starting list will I need the privacy term at the bottom? If so is ok to write my own or do I have to get some sort of legal document?

      Thanks Again

What you want to do with your squeeze pages for collecting opt ins is
let them know that you will not share or sell their info with anyone.

Also tell them to whitelist your email address so they are sure to get
        your emails.

Another thing I would do is let them know specifically what they'll be
getting when they opt in so there are no surprises.

Sometimes people will report your email as spam because they receive
          something they weren't expecting.

            Thanks Again Steve
Unfortunately I have to go so I can go to my JOB
in the morning. I was reading your 4 step process and I agree it is not
all easy like alot of the sites claim about IM. I am interested in getting the
Affiliate Assasin this looks like a good start on educating myself in affiliate
marketing. I am going go for affiliate marketing 1st I have tried mlm and yes it is a massive turn over and half the time I just get going and the
            company folds.
I need to start working online 9 1/2 hr work days are starting to put a toll on me. I feel if I could do half of that online a day I might get somewhere.
Thank You Steve for the information hope to see you again here in the Forum.
            Thank You
