Yeah, there is a MYTH that has been around for a LONG time that BBs(sometimes called pellets) won't puncture the skin. OBVIOUSLY, almost anything can puncture the skin if it is small enough and has enough pressure behind it. But HECK, they could have tried a piece of soft wood, or an apple, and verified that there was at least a GOOD chance. Of course, it IS possible for a bb with less power to just bounce off, but don't assume that the next shot will meet those criteria.
