I bet at least one of guys in this photo had to be thinking "I knew this was a bad idea" right about the time this picture was taken...

The thought must be coming from the guy who is hanging on - I'm sure the fellow who is heads down is thinking "oh sh**".

Very bad idea - but isn't it funny there's no paint spilling from the can???

Dear April: I don't want any trouble from you.
January was long, February was iffy, March was a freaking dumpster fire.
So sit down, be quiet, and don't touch anything.

Or that there is no roller tray? Or that the whole set up doesn't make sense? Why would there be one guy in a postion to be hanging from the roof, in that location, and another guy that far up the ladder?

All of these things led me to believe it was a Photoshopped pic, but then I realized if they were dumb enough to get into a situation like that, they were dumb enough to forget a roller tray and to use an empty paint can.

              THAT would be awesome!!!

I love the Amazing Jonathan. Even though I am not afraid of spiders, I think we are kindred spirits.

p.s. A lot of paint rollers are covered in yellow material, so I just figured they hadn't applied any paint to it yet.

Nor is there a reflection of the legs of the guy falling head first, even though we can see a reflection of the top of the ladder in the glass.

Plus, that guy falling is holding a roller(?) in one hand so at least two of the other three items in mid air had to come from the guy now clinging with both hands to the roof. But then those objects would have hit the ground already.

          Photoshop fail.

Although there are STILL a few problems with it, it looks like what COULD have happened is that a person made it almost 100% up the ladder, MAYBE he wanted to paint the area above the windows, which would be DUMB from the getgo! Maybe the other guy was taking materials up, ETC... which is ALSO stupid in several ways. The ONLY way I can think of to reconcile the picture is that the first person leaned to the right, and tried to hold the roof to stablize himself, The second person might have tried to climb up the ladder and, finally realizing the ladder wasn't properly extended and nobody was left to hold the ladder, tried to extend it. Who knows, maybe he flipped the latch, etc... Anyway HE went flying and the other guy had to hold onto the roof with both hands. Still, things seem a bit TOO uneven and too far off to the sides, and his leg is through the ladder, etc.... So maybe it isn't real. Still, people HAVE done things as I described!

They SHOULD have had like two smaller ladders with a board between them or something so that the person could paint without leaning, etc...

        Bill Farnham,

Give me a BREAK! I merely said something that COULD have done that sort of thing, disregarding the reflections, etc... I kind of implied that using that type of ladder, that OBVIOUSLY couldn't be stable because it would have to go practically straight up, etc... AND there would have to have been TWO people on it, and NOBODY holding it, etc...., was just WRONG! You would have to reach out to paint the home which is NEVER a good idea on a ladder.
