Check this out:

Rock Stars: Then and Now | NBC Los Angeles

Some of them just look like more mature versions of the way they looked in their glory days (Meatloaf, Springsteen, Benatar, Lennox).

And some of them, all I can say is OMG

Well, thanks for posting. Interesting looking at them. Funny, Meatloaf looks
better now than he did back then. Others... hideous. Joan Jett looks very
    good, still.

I do notice that as well. The celebs that smoke tend to age at an accelerated rate.

With some of them it's not just ciggies that contributed to their aging.

Ozzy, Tyler, Motley Crue and others listed there kept the Columbian economy ticking away for years.

Why do garden gnomes smell so bad?
So that blind people can hate them as well.

This is a funny thread - some of those folks are lucky to have survived at all - I give them credit for still kicking. Have you stopped to realize what YOU might look like in 40 years or more? Smoking may age your skin prematurely - but time will age you no matter what. Those who seem to have "aged well" - which usually is defined by "looks pretty good for the age" - are sporting some serious plastic surgery. I admire those like Jagger who lived hard - and show their life in their face. Nothing wrong with looking old - when you are old. Sure beats acting old when you are young - those people earned every line on their face and had fun doing it. kay

OK...that was down right scary...but i doubt many of us can pass the same test.

We should do our own "before & after" thread...now that would a real kick in the ass

I was thinking something along the same line.
I know because of my mostly past life style, I'm just happy I aged at all.

Considering some of those people have been adults since the late 60's and early 70's, they aren't doing that bad even if they are no longer pretty and flashy.

I really enjoyed this - thanks for the link.
