If the tape was about McCain wouldn't it already be on the Internet as "leaked"?

Hiding? Are you guys serious? Haha. The Times broke the story weeks ago.

By the way, did you read this part:

The Obama campaign called the impasse "just another recycled, manufactured controversy from the McCain campaign to distract voters' attention from John McCain's lock-step support for George Bush's economic policies."

"Barack Obama has been clear and consistent on his support for Israel, and has been clear that Rasheed Khalidi is not an adviser to him or his campaign and that he does not share Khalidi's views. Instead of giving lectures on media bias, John McCain should answer why, under his own chairmanship, the International Republican Institute repeatedly funded an organization Khalidi founded, the Center for Palestine Research and Studies, over the course of many years," said spokesman Tommy Vietor.

I'm not attacking you - just asking a question.

Has the L.A. Times said there is no tape or whatever?

"The newspaper reported Tuesday evening in a story on its Web site that the tape was from a confidential source."

"The Los Angeles Times did not publish the videotape because it was provided to us by a confidential source who did so on the condition that we not release it," the Times' editor, Russ Stanton, said. "The Times keeps its promises to sources."

Spokeswoman Nancy Sullivan said the paper is not interested in revisiting the story. "As far as we're concerned, the story speaks for itself," she said.

Well it's official... TimPhelan is down playing it, and the the Obama campaign called it "just another recycled, manufactured controversy..."

        That cleared up everything!

Oh ya, Tim downplays everything with any negativity toward Obama, and the Obama camp calls every reasonable question about Obama's past a "controversy".

I just wasted 2 minutes of my time.

          Michael,

I thought you went away and had better things to do? I knew better, too bad you don't know yourself as well I know you. Makes you look like someone that can't keep their word.

BTW, did you watch O'Reilly tonight? You know, the segment with Karl Rove, where Rove said this wasn't a big deal and that McCain has known about this since April?

Rove said that McCain shouldn't bring it up, but that it may be OK for Palin to spend a news cycle on it, for purely political reasons...However, this late in a campaign Americans get tired of this mud slinging. Keep it up...You're only helping the Obama cause.
          Even Rove says so.

          I know, I know....Rove is a liberal, Obama supporter. Yeah,right.

Exactly! Have you noticed that the Obamamaniacs can't list one thing they disagree with Obama on, and always rush to his defense? I've mentioned several times that McCain wasn't my first choice and I could name several things I disagree with him on. Why can't they do the same with Obama?

Because he is my first choice. I do dissagree with him on some issues, like voting for the FISA bill and his promise to expand Bush's faith based programs.

I'll start: I disagree with Obama on quotas based on race. (I'm not even sure this is Obama's position.) Instead, they should be based on income.

I don't believe in retribution for the Civil War. My forefathers all fought for the Blue and I think they are owed a "thank you" for their role in ending slavery, not a bill.

I also liked Hilary's health care plan more than Obama's.

I didn't/don't like Obama's association with Wright. I was "very, very Obama" before, but my enthusiasm waned somewhat after.

He is a little inexperienced, but so was Kennedy, Lincoln and FDR, while Nixon and Hoover were both very experienced, and both had failed presidencies.

Having said this, you neo-cons haven't brought up ISSUES. You've brought up innuendo, smears, name calling, allegations, etc. Bring up specific issues and we can actually have a REAL debate, instead of this mudslinging crap, character assasination BS you all keep posting.

And instead of being negative McCain, I challenge you to be positive Obama. Judging by your posts, it's way too easy for you to be negative...You've posted nothing but negative stuff the entire time. That's your true challenge, not more bitching.
