Just for some fun I'm considering trying to land a tv on a penny auction. I've done some reading on them and looked at a free report on how to win but I'm still skeptical. Any advice?

I belong to a penny auction and I won a 32in tv for .14 cents. I still have it sitting in my living room in the box. I have won over 1,700.00 worth of stuff. Like gift cards ect..

bought a few cds from time to time, but, in my case, postage negates any real saving

      Exactly.

It doesnt take a genius to know that this are not regulated.

They have bots that pump up the price.

If you bid $10, the next bid comes in a few seconds later at $10.50.
After you place $10.60 another bid comes in at $11.

Its just a roller coaster ride but you end up spending more time and you may not get it at the price you want.

Not to mention all the other extra stuff like warranty?? Extra services?? Like if it requires installation etc etc..

You just cant trust this start up sites.

I rather go to my local store.
At least if there is anything wrong, i just make a trip back to them.

My friend used to them, he got a lot of good deals, but it couldn't have been that great, because he lost interest in doing them.
