Well, I posted a thread here several months ago asking where would everyone live if they could live anywhere in the world... And I got lots of different answers. Well, I guess for us that place is Southern California - we are moving to Laguna Beach :-) So, we shall see if the grass is indeed greener on the other side... At least, if nothing else, I know the weather's better :-)

    I remember that thread
I've never been to Cali, so I have no opinion on it.
I hope it works out for you though.
Weather it does or not, have fun with it.

Thanks... I think it will be a fun adventure no matter what... But its hard not to like - as a friend that lives out there told me... "It sells itself..."

Good decision, but the Bay Area is better. I'm biased though. Good luck to you and your family in your future life in California.

      Hey Kevin,

I'm moving from Minneapolis, Minnesota to Cali next month. But I'm moving to northern California (San Francisco). It's exciting and nerve-wracking to move but I'm looking forward to it. I won't be missing the Minnesota winters.

LOL - I'm going to lose my street cred. We'll still come here for Xmas with the fam so I won't be saying bye-bye to sub-zero temps forever.

Is that where the Laguna Seca race track is? Wild track, great races. Hope you won't be living across the street, kinda noisy.

I hope you like the Left Coast, Kevin.

I am in Northern Calif - the Bay Area West

Southern California has the most gorgeous beaches and I hope you just get on Highway 1 and see them all.

However they also have more earthquakes, (few are serious) and more traffic and smog than we do here in the North.

It will definitely be different anyway for you!

    All the best.
