Hey everyone,

What a lot of you might not know is that while internet marketing is something I do to in my spare time, my real drive and passion is music. With Labor Day on the way and in light of recent deployments that were some of the highest numbers yet, I wrote and recorded a song and created a video dedicated to our troops both here and overseas, and I wanted to share that with you all here.

I'm sure we all know someone in the service or have a family member is serving in the Armed Forces, so we can all relate. Anyway, I hope you all like this. Feel free to pass it along or share it with anyone you know who would appreciate it.

Thanks Kenster! I also have family members in the military, in addition to tons of friends and others that I know. I just wanted to write and record something to give back.

The only way to make this thing go viral is for people to spread the word But that would be great if it did - So many people seem to forget that we have men and women over their daily fighting for us, so maybe this will help remind them to give thanks.

I would also hope it would remind people why they are fighting for us.
I've never supported this war or any war, but the dedication and sacrifices of our men and women in uniform deserves nothing but the utmost respect and support.

On July 20, 1969 I got off an airplane coming "home", on the way to being processed out of the army. I was met only by a national holiday (that gentleman walked on the moon about that time!) that delayed my processing by one day.

Dead broke and no where to go I borrowed $5.00 and went to the NCO club for as many beers as that would afford. Next day I was a civilian...no fanfare of any sort...even my parents did not know I was back in the states.

When I see videos such as yours I get a first pang of "JEALOUSY" that I received no "thank yous",... no "hip-hip hurrahs"...no "welcome homes" of any sort. This jealousy is almost immediately replaced by tears of recognition---that the treatment of the American servicemen/women in the 1960's/early 1970's finally impacted the American public into recognition of what these folks have done, are doing, and will continue to do for the average--every day citizen.

So "hip-hip-hurrah" to you, sir, for this song and video and be assured that I will pass it along to all I know.

Thank you for your post. It means a lot. I did this for all veterans as well, as everything they've done (including yourself) has contributed to our continuance of freedom here in America. To me, it's never too late to say thank you to anyone who has served for our country.

And thank you for passing this along. I truly appreciate it!
