Speed seduction? LMAO. If someone doesn't have the time to spend on someone else, why would they be seduced by that? If someone is in that damned much of a hurry, maybe they should consider the oldest form of seduction - cash trade. I think the next course would rightly be named "get a life".

Yes, the principles of seduction are applied to sales:
1. Listen to prospective date or client like they're singularly important.
2. Conversationally find out what their problem is.
3. Gently guide the conversation towards your objective.
4. Pose questions in such a way that a simple yes or no won't cut the conversation short.
5. Provide them with a solution (be it yourself or whatever you're selling), but make it come across as the party came up with the idea.
5. Repeatedly ask questions so that they get into the pattern of saying yes or nodding their heads (but don't be too obvious about it, since this is an old trick).
6. Ask for a date or close the sale. They might say yes again, by repeating the pattern.

I disagree with #5. It used to be right but it's been used for so long and is so well known that it is actually alertive to be asked something that requires yes or no. If I can't answer hypothetically, I don't want to answer the question at all if I'm talking to a salesman. I wouldn't recommend it as a great technique any more.

Whatever happened to people just connecting naturally - saying something when they have something to say and just being comfortable with silence, too?

Guys - if you are busy following point #5 and notice your lady has a glazed look on her face....she may be wondering "does this guy ever shut up?":p

Hey, I'm just the messenger. I have just been privy to these methods. I prefer just simple and natural conversation myself, except when I'm talking to women. When I'm talking to women my strategy is
A) Stilted speech
B) Referring to "seduction notes" on a grubby piece of paper
C) Unnatural, forced conversation that is both theatrical and bad acting

(poor little #5 is getting picked on)

Just beautiful! I'm an old school NLP guy, from back when it was used to actually help people think more effectively, and communicate clearly. (Sometimes I can even do that myself, grin.)

For the guys reading this who want to do well with women....

Hey, just give them what they want, it's the same as what ANY human wants.

Attention, appreciation and respect in a way that's fun.

And become comfortable with "just being" with her, and with yourself.

We can modify our behavior, but I think compatibility between two people is mostly hardwired and therefore out of their control. Maybe some guys (and gals) just need a reality check, know what I mean.

Check out what happens to the men who master Speed Seduction kind of stuff.

I have done a lot of coaching with them in the past 7 years, trying to normalize them after they buy into that mindset and build those skills in on autopilot.

Here's the problem. Once you get good at screwing with people's minds, and you'll never know what naturally could have happened, so any chance of a natural relationship or friendship begins to disappear. And that is just the beginning.

"The more you think about it, the more obvious it becomes".... and so on.

Grandpa used to say, "Learn what you can from them, pray to God you don't get sucked in."

I agree. Speed seduction, hypnotism, and suchlike are definitely crappy ways to deal with anybody. It can't lead to any good.

Hi Thunderbird,

It's a real shame what I have learned from clients who got deep into using NLP for seduction. They really have an almost impossible time giving it up, and feel even more lonely in the end, knowing that they can't naturally just connect with someone - that they keep habitually using their methods to connect with people.

Mate, you say that people practicing this stuff find at last that they can't attract any relation naturally without following the stuff, but you missed a point.
Once this behavior becomes autopilot it will become natural too, so what they think naturally is Speed seduction and they can't think of anything else, so that does cuts off the possibility of them thinking what would they been happier if it happened naturally?

Apart from that a survey showed that most american has .75 best friends, that means most of the people don't even have one friend with whom they can share their secrets.

So whats the problem if Speed seduction can get you girlfriends which are in deep connection with you.

Further more few days back I realized that when I was in college I was doing some NLP or SS stuff naturally with girls like conditioning them to connect pleasure with being with me, time distortion etc (since NLP is based on modeling, nothing is invented its just like reverse engineering) and I had huge success.

So whats the problem if one can do it better by understanding it consciously and making better relationships

The problem is that it is building on smoke and mirrors. Not the way you want to approach a problem making lasting relationships whether friendship or love.

As a person who studied linguistic brainwashing techniques in college, all I can say is if I catch someone using these tactics -- and I WILL catch them, because they leave more linquistic cues than a rodent leaves crap on the floor to let you know he's there - I'm gonna come right back at you and turn your world so upside down you'll never get you equilibrium back.

People are not your pets to "fool" into having dealings with you. This is the most sociopathic **** I have heard in this forum or anywhere else yet.

Um...speaking of sociopaths............Jim, I just worry about you sometimes.

The 'fast seduction artists', I fancied their come uppance would have to do with never being able to give up that stuff. I was right on this one.

A lady friend of mine when she was saying 'you can know too much', well that's what she was referring to. 'Take care' is usually bad advice IMO. In this instance it's not.

I was just kidding in my previous post. My attempt at comedy writing, that's all. I think I've witnessed some of those methods put to practice -- it's weird stuff. I imagine that it would likely set off the alarm bells of any woman with her wits about her. But, then again, I'm always surprised by people's gullibility and keep on overestimating the degree of commonsense in others. It strikes me me as kind of misogynistic, and even seems to resemble what cult members go through. Speaking of cult members, a little bit like Tom Cruise's character in Magnolia?

Speed seduction works.

I got into it in 1996, when Jeffries was just another poster on Alt-Seduction. After some practicing and tweaking, the results were good from a stat standpoint.

I have several instances from first glance to first snog in under 30 seconds. Issue with it is that the girls feel that they are losing themselves without being able to know why. It can make them freak out...

I've become a big fan of Ross Jeffries. I've even talked with him a time or two. I think Frank Kern uses a lot of the same NLP technology that has made Speed Seduction famous.

I'm actually studying Speed Seduction now as I'm an affiliate for Jeffries and I'm building my own dating advise business using Eben Pagan's Guru Blueprint Program.

Um Greg...this isn't about someone else liking who you are. This stuff is about control. If you are willing to use manipulation to get what you want - that's not liking someone. That is getting your way, despite what it does to the person manipulated. It is souless and it is a power grab.
