I am happy because I just got a negative result on my biopsy. I have no cancer. None. Absolutely no cancer.

It's an awesome feeling after losing a lot of sleep over getting 60/40 odds.

I spent yesterday afternoon with my oldest son (9) - who we were warned would be a failure to thrive and probably would never walk as a baby - ride his bicycle around the cul-de-sac after taking off the training wheels.

Can't possibly see how life can get better than that - having the ability to take time off to just go play with my kids, having very healthy children, and a nice neighborhood to let them play in.

that's what makes me happy.

  Great words you've said, those are exposing the essence. In today's hectical life people intend to forget to stop for a moment and think. This world is many-coloured. You may find bad and great things, both of them exist.

  Imagine: a morning's sunshine... a blooming flower with a bee... a smile of an oncoming women... the hearty laugh of your kid... a nice conversation with a pleasant people... a glass of a fresh drink... a kiss with your beloved... a well done task... a deserved raise... and so on.
  
  Just name a few what can make you happy everyday.

Nice. Very nice. It is great to hear about happy mutually loving and supportive families. I think my wife and I are providing something like that for our baby boy. For me, it is reassuring to see evidence that such loving families really do exist outside of "Leave it to Beaver." My relatives are thousands and thousands of miles away (and I am happy because of that, heh heh heh).

There are happy families out there and I hope that I am bringing my kids up so they will be good to their families too. I like having my family close and as much as I would actually love to move and live up in Northern Australia, I don't think I could leave all my family behind.

I'm happy for many reasons:

1. I don't dwell on the things that can cause unhappiness. I don't ignore them, just don't overemphasize them. Life can sometimes stink but dwelling on such things only makes matters worse.
2. I appreciate the things that do make me happy even when they are minor things.
3. I like having things but the desire for them doesn't rule me. If I can't afford a T-Bone steak, I'll simply love my hamburger steak. If I can't afford a Lexus, I'll get extra seat padding in my Hyundai. If I can't afford a cruise, I'll go to the beach.
4. If I really get down and depressed I think about someone who has things worse than I do and, if possible, I do something to make their life better.

Feeling down is a natural thing on occasion but it's really a total waste of time. Keeping those moments to a minimum is half the battle to a happy life. If a family member or a friend says or does something that upsets me I ask myself, "How big a deal is this, really"? Some people don't have a brother or a spouse or a friend. They would love to change places with me.

That's how I look at life and it works!

I am happy for soo many reasons right now. Looks like its going to be a great month, year, lifetime

1. I switched my hours working outside my home to 6pm-11pm. Job is a cake walk at these hours, love it!
2. Me and my husband both get paid every 2 weeks for our outside jobs, husband just found out next month, he will start getting paid weekly. Very awesome news.
3. Last night I read something on here from a warrior member and it completely flipped my switch. It was completely free advice and it just hit me like a ton of bricks, bam I can make it online. The tips he gave were just amazing. No off the wall stuff, but awesome. This week I will be taking action on everything he mentioned. Will setup a daily to do list for myself asap and get started implementing everything. So thrilled.
