  On the subject of Facebook- and this may be a daft question - do those of you with your page details on here actively want anyone from WF to add you as a friend? (I can't get used to the fact you can get requests from or send requests to people you dont actually know!)

@LynnM Not everyone thinks the same way ... btw to build a network with people who have the same interest you have , facebook is a good place I think .

Apparently I have never set a usename,and when I started to,it told me it was irreversable.....which of course left me speechless and trembling in fear I might choose the wrong one........

well hells bells...I di it,well,I came close, I chose 1.Cranky.Old.Man, and it wont fit into the forum space in the profile here ,so I still cant get it to work! :confused:

I stand corrected, I don't know what I did, but it now works.

I did change my WF profile some time ago to my FB username which is my real name.

... but it doesn't work.

  Patrician , Writing your first name and last name you gave in facebook won't gona make your profile link . You need to set up your facebook username first , go to facebook account setting page.

okay. My screen doesn't look like that Nazbir,

But I found where you change it. I don't know what the username was I guess, but bottom line is I was able to change it to patricia.brucoli and now it works.

I'm actually trying to use my group's name not my personal FB account. But I can't seem to choose the 'settings' name for my group, only for my personal account. Does anyone know if this can be done?

You can't set your group because Facebook doesn't let use give Username type name for group , but if you do not want to flash out your personal FB id , you can create a Facebook Like page ( Previously know as Fan page ) an after that page has 25 likes you can give that page a unique name and the link for your page will be like this " http://www.facebook.com/uniquepagename "

Then just paste the unique page name in here warrior forum , on your profile page Facebook box .

I guess I have too many characters for WF. (26)

I can't imagine a 26 character username, but if you want an admin to do something,the correct method is to submit a ticket to the helpdesk.
